Tropical  Storm Sara Proclaims the Gospel Track

November 18, 2024 (Day 323):  After forming in the Caribbean south of Jamaica, Tropical Storm Sara was named as it approached Honduras on November 14, 2024 at 1 pm EST (1800 GMT).  The storm spent three days creeping along the northern coast of Honduras on November 15-17 before making landfall in Belize and petering out as it crossed the Yucatan Peninsula along the Mexican-Guatemala border and emerging as a weak Tropical  Depression in the Bay of Campeche on Nov. 18.  The numbers of the days correspond to the timeline of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.  He ate the Passover, the Last Supper, the night of the 14th, which was Day 15 Hebrew time in which the day begins at 6 pm.  Jesus was crucified on the 15th and His body lay in the tomb for 3 days before he was resurrected before dawn on Day 18.

ThroneThe geography of the region around the Yucatan in Central America symbolizes a Throne and a High Place.  The Yucatan is the back of the throne.  The seat corresponds to Honduras, which also symbolizes a High Place.  And Costa Rica and Panama symbolize the Footstool.  The three days Tropical  Storm Sara spent along the northern coast of Honduras symbolized being offered as a sacrifice on a High Place.  Jesus Christ offered Himself as a sacrifice for sins on the cross (Heb 7:26, 27).  The death of Christ on the cross corresponded to the Levitical sacrifices on the Altar in the Tabernacle and to sacrifices on High Places.

The name of the Tropical Storm was Sara, which was the name of Abram's wife before she reached Spiritual Maturity.  Sara's name was changed to Sarah when she reached Spiritual Maturity (Gen 17:15).  Sarah means princess in a good way as a term of respect for her husband's authority or for ruling authority.  Sara, on the other hand, connotes a woman with an authority problem, such as wanting to be the ruler.  Sara ruled the roost, but when she reached maturity she respected her husband and called him lord (1 Pet 3:6).

Sara needed to have her name changed at Spiritual Maturity because she had left her old life and was living a new Spiritual Life.  The old name Sara would have identified her with Satan, who was rebellious.  The new name Sarah identified her as respecting true authority, which comes from the Lord God.  The old life was burned up on the Altar and left behind.   The Tropical Storm Sara was on the High Place of Honduras which meant the old life was dying as the storm died.  Sara's body was also dying, and she was past the menopause (Gen 18:11; Rom 4:19).  God had to perform a miracle for her to live the new life as a mother of the son of the Promise and the Jewish race.

SaraTropical Storm Sara arrived at the coast of Honduras on Nov. 14, where 14 is for the Passover.  Jesus ate the Passover (Last Supper) and was crucified on the 15th day of  the  month.  After bearing the sins of the world, He dismissed His human Spirit, which went into Sheol (Hades), and His body was placed in a tomb.  In Sheol He announced that He had paid for the sins of the world as promised by the Adamic Covenant.  He led the Old Testament saints out of Sheol (Abraham's Bosom) into Heaven.  He led them free in a Triumphal Procession (Eph 4:8).  Jesus was in His Spiritual Body.  After three days His Earthly Body was resurrected and an Angel rolled back the stone that sealed His tomb.

Tropical Storm Sara traveled across the northern coast of Honduras for 3 days, corresponding to the offering of Jesus Christ on a High Place and the Cross.

Spiritual Meaning

Tropical Storms are produced by the Weather Archangel.  His capabilities are amazing.  The story of Tropical Storm Sara is a masterpiece with very  few congregations even able to comprehend it.  Geography is the work of the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit and Angels, who manage active processes.   The wonders of  creation are beyond the imagination.  The key to understanding is Bible Doctrine.  The Angels have been kind enough to reveal to us the meaning of the geographical feature of the Yucatan, which ancient civilizations never understood.  The Yucatan and Sara predate the cross; yet the New Testament (Covenant) doctrine explains them.  Christopher Columbus was driven by Angels to explore the New World, but he didn't have the doctrine to understand it.  Now the Angels are revealing it to us through hurricanes and tropical storms.

The Spiritual meaning of Tropical Storm Sara is vast and complex.  Yet, it can be summarized as a picture of the Gospel, which is the Good News of the  death,  burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:3, 4).  It is the story of the Passover, which began in Egypt and was fulfilled in the Crucifixion of Christ.   The calendar days of the life of Tropical Storm Sara coincide with the days of the Passover, Crucifixion, and Resurrection of Christ.  The storm was born on Nov. 14, spent 3 days (Nov. 15-17) on the northern coast of Honduras symbolizing a High Place, crossed the Yucatan as a Tropical Depression, and emerged in the Bay of Campeche on Nov. 18 as a sign of the Resurrection.

Tropical Storm Sara spent 3 days moving West along the coast of Honduras.  It was off shore and went between the coast and the Bay Islands.  The northern coast of Honduras corresponds to a High Place where animal sacrifices are offered as a substitute for the sins of mankind.  The corner formed by the Yucatan Peninsula and Honduras symbolizes the cross of Christ, where the first major hurricane of the year, Hurricane Beryl, went.  The Throne of the Yucatan formed by the Yucatan Peninsula, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama and other surrounding Central American countries symbolizes the Throne of Christ in the Church Age.  In the Church Age the Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of the Throne of God in Heaven as King of kings and Lord of lords.  He is seated as High Priest of the Church.  After He had finished bearing the sins of the world, God the Father called out a new Royal Family (the Church) for Christ and appointed Him as High Priest over it (Heb 5:9-10).

Tropical Storm Sara on the High Place of Honduras symbolized being offered on the Altar as a sacrifice to God.  Jesus Christ offered Himself on the Altar for the sins of the world, and believers share the suffering of Christ.  Believers offer their life on the Altar (Cross) as a sacrifice (Rom 8:36; 12:1; 2 Cor 4:11; Phil 2:17; 2 Tim 4:6; Num 28:6, 7).  They do not die for their sins but die to their old life in order to live the New Spiritual Life in Christ Jesus (Rom 6:4; Col 3:2-3).

Tropical Storm Sara moved along the northern coast of Honduras for three days.  Sara is the name of the wife of Abram before she was promoted to Spiritual Maturity.  Sara is the name of an ambitious, rebellious, bossy female like Jezebel.  This was Spiritual adolescence before maturity.  Sara had the problems associated with Spiritual adolescence.  These problems went away when she was promoted to Sarah, meaning princess in the good sense.  Sarah recognized authority and her husband as her lord.  She had to die to her old life in order to live the new Spiritual Life.  She lived before the Church Age and before the Law.  Her Spiritual Life consisted of Faith-Rest (ref. Ruth 3:18) and animal sacrifices.  Abraham was her Priest, as head of the tribe.

The analogy of Tropical Storm Sara over the coast of Honduras differs from the Crucifixion in that Jesus was not on the cross for three days.  His body was in the tomb for 3 days.  During that time He was in His Spiritual Body in Sheol, where He reported to the Old Testament saints that He had paid for their sins in fulfillment of the Adamic Covenant.  Then He led them to Heaven in a Triumphal Procession (Eph 4:8).  After three days He was resurrected with a new Resurrection Body.  He appeared to men in His new body, and then ascended to Heaven where He was seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of God (Eph 1:20; Heb 8:1).  God called out a new Royal Family for Him, and He was promoted to High Priest of the Church.  The Throne of the Yucatan symbolizes the Throne of Christ as High Priest of the Church in this age.

Conclusion

Tropical Storm Sara illustrated the central focus of human history.  From the fall of man in the Garden to the Crucifixion of Christ, human history has been about sin and the payment for sin.  Adam sinned, and sin was passed down through the human race.  Jesus came and paid for the sins of the world.  Salvation for all mankind was provided so that all who have Faith in Christ can be saved.  Those who reject Salvation can remain under condemnation and doomed to Judgment in the Lake of Fire forever.  The message is simple:  "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved" (Acts 16:31).  "He who believes on the Son has eternal life, but he who does not believe shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him" (Jn 3:36).  "For as in Adam all die, even so by agency of Christ shall all be made alive" (1 Cor 15:22).

Tropical Storm Sara illustrated the Gospel message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The numbers of the days of the life of the storm were the numbers of the days (14-18) of the month of the Crucifixion of Christ.  The setting for landfall of the storm was along the northern coast of Honduras (symbolizing a High Place) and the Yucatan Peninsula as the symbol of a Throne.  The Throne symbolized the Throne of  Christ as the High Priest of the Church in this age.  Jesus Christ is in Heaven seated at the Right Hand of the Father, but He was symbolically seated on the Throne of the Yucatan as Tropical Storm Sara passed.

Sara was the name of Abraham's wife before she was promoted to Spiritual Maturity.  She was a Spiritual adolescent.  She had passed the menopause and was barren.  The Lord had to work a miracle to revive her reproductive system so she could bear the son of the Promise, who became a type of Christ, the Savior of the world.  The Spirit of God can heal all physical maladies (Heb 11:11).  He can even deliver from death.
