Melissa, Jamaica Honeymoon from Hell

October 28, 2025 (Day 301): Powerful Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on October 28, 2025 with strong winds estimated by the National Weather Service at 160 knots (185 mph) with barometric pressure of 892 mb and a circular eye 15 nautical miles in diameter. The last reconnaissance mission before land fall at 1302 GMT (09:02 EDT) reported severe turbulence from the Southeast and a sawtooth eye on all sides. A previous NOAA flight was forced to turn back due to severe turbulence. The wind and pressure measurements were historic.

Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on the Southeast side in the Black River community, which was by the sea on the flood plain. Needless to say, it was devastated. The stormed proceeded North Northeast across the island across mountainous terrain. The storm weakened, and the eye expanded and disappeared. However, the hurricane was still strong enough to do considerable damage. The airport in the main resort area of Montego Bay was damaged and closed for three days. Tourists and honeymooners were stranded in hotels and unable to get out by land, sea, or air.

After exiting the northern coast of Jamaica, Melissa maintained hurricane force winds and strengthened some over the open water. It struck Cuba at Santiago and crossed mountainous terrain where it was weakened before emerging and crossing the Eastern Bahamas.

However, the significance of Hurricane Melissa does not lie in its strength and its fury, but in its Spiritual meaning (Zech 4:6). The question that must be answered is "What did God do?" Tropical Storm Melissa was named when it was North of Venezuela. It moved around very slowly at 3 or 4 mph for days. It did not head directly for Jamaica but moved South of it on an easterly track as if laying siege to the island. Then it turned North Northeast toward Jamaica and rapidly strengthened. It was obvious that God was showing no mercy, except that the storm was headed for the West side of the island rather than for the capital of Kingston on the East side.

Hurricane Melissa made landfall in the Black River valley region. It moved North Northeast across the island over the mountains and caused catastrophic destruction. The mountainous region of Montego Bay became a trap. Although the tourists survived in hotels, all land, sea, and air traffic was blocked. They couldn't get out, and cell phone communication was down. Those on their honeymoon in Montego Bay in the face of the monstrous hurricane suffered a honeymoon from Hell. The airport was closed for three days.

On October 26, Day 299, two days before Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica, there was heavy rain in Titusville, Florida of over 13 inches. This was more rain than for most hurricanes. Swamps, retention ponds, and canals filled up, and the Space Coast Airport was closed. The Titusville flood made national news. The Titusville flooding was a herald of the Jamaica hurricane, which made landfall on October 28, Day 301, where the numbers mean 28 - cosmic stronghold (the hurricane), 301 - Judgment (300) of love or unity (1). Noah's Ark was 300 cubits long. There were weather judgments the day before and after the 300th day of the year.

The island of Jamaica is shaped like a dugong (manatee). A dugong, or manatee, symbolizes a giant, like Baal or in the Tabernacle the humanity of Christ, who was bruised for our iniquities (Isa 53:5; Ex 26:14). Dugong leather was used for making shoes (Ezek 16:10). Baal is the enemy of Marriage, children, and Israel. The dugong is erroneously translated porpoise in the Bible.

The symbol of the island of Jamaica as a dugong for Baal is an important clue to the Spiritual meaning of God's Judgment of Jamaica with Hurricane Melissa. Hurricane Melissa was obviously Divine Punishment as God punishes the son whom He loves (Heb. 12:6). However, the punishment was severe, like scourging. It was intensified punishment. God poured out His wrath on Jamaica through Hurricane Melissa. Those who were celebrating their honeymoon received a honeymoon from Hell.

Honeymoons are supposed to be glorious celebrations with great happiness. However, honeymoon failures are among the most severe forms of suffering. When honeymoons fail, it is a harbinger of severe suffering in the marriage. Adam and the woman (later called Eve) were on a perpetual honeymoon until they sinned and destroyed it all. They were both given severe punishment, which was passed down to their children. Jacob was tricked into sleeping with the wrong woman on his honeymoon. Rachel was his Right Woman, but he was married to Leah. Jacob never got to Spiritual Rapport with Rachel. Samson's wife doublecrossed him on his honeymoon when she revealed his riddle to her boy friends (Judg 14:16, 17, 18).

God's punishment of Jamaica was also a punishment of the nation under the Cycles of National Blessing and Cursing. Believers are the salt of the land. As goes the believer, so goes the nation. Jamaica is a nation of Black people who won their freedom by rebelling against their English masters. However, after winning their independence, they chose to be a Constitutional Monarchy and still honored the English King. The USA in contrast cut the ties with the decadent king. The Blacks of Jamaica worked in the sugar cane fields under White employers even after being freed. Later the tourist industry took the place of the sugar cane industry and people lived in cities. Even though the Blacks are free, they are still under the curse of Ham until it is removed in Christ. The vast majority of believers in Jamaica are Protestant with very few Roman Catholics and foreign religions, such as Hindu, Mormon, and Islam.

Spiritual Meaning

Hurricane Melissa revealed the wrath of God in a monstrous hurricane that struck a small island in the Caribbean. The path of the storm South of Jamaica was like a siege. Then the storm rapidly intensified and headed straight for the island. It struck in the Black River valley, crossed the mountains, and severely damaged the tourist resort of Montego Bay. The airport was shutdown, ferry traffic was halted, and roads were blocked. Honeymooners and vacationers were trapped and forced to ride out an horrific storm in hotel shelters (internal rooms).

The cursing of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica was historic. God's wrath was revealed so blatantly as to make the suffering a byword for future generations. Couples went to Jamaica on their honeymoons. Vacationers went to Montego Bay to enjoy a tropical paradise, reminiscent of the Garden of Eden. Yet they were horrified and trapped. They were cursed by the wrath of God revealed from Heaven (Rom 1:18). What would cause God to unleash His wrath upon Jamaica?

The island of Jamaica is shaped like a dugong (manatee), the symbol of Baal. Baal is the enemy of Marriage, children, and Israel. Christians can defeat Baal in Spiritual Warfare on the road to Spiritual Maturity. If they don't defeat Baal, their love life, Marriage, and children will remain in slavery to Baal. The Blacks of Jamaica won their freedom from slavery to man, but they can only win their freedom from Baal through obeying God and executing the Christian life. To advance they must Rebound when they sin. Most Christian churches do not teach Rebound accurately. Those who do not confess their sins of promiscuity to God cannot be forgiven. They remain slaves to Baal.

Baal is the spirit of Satan, but Satan's demons also do the works of Baal. The Christian can simply confess his sin whether it was under the power of Satan or his demons. God will forgive the Christian of his sins and purify him from all unrighteousness (including demons). God will take care of the demons in Rebound. They don't have to be exorcised by a demon handler. Those who do not Rebound are Reversionists. They have wandered away from God and are enslaved to Satan and his demons and Baal. Antichrists, Evil Kings, and Prostitutes of Babylon have demons, such as Baal. The wrath of God opposes these demons in a Christian. Christian Reversionists have the Blessing of Christ and the cursing of Satan and his demons (Deut 11:26-28). Reversionists under the power of Baal face God's punishment in their marriages, family, and children. The children are also enslaved to Baal. To get the reversionist to Rebound God turns up the heat from Warning, to Intensified Discipline, to the Sin Leading to Death. God turns loose His wrath. Hurricane Melissa was an example of that wrath.

Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica on October 28, 2025, Day 301, where the numbers mean 28 - cosmic stronghold; 2025 - Sovereignty - 301 Judgment (300) of Love (or unity) (1). Two days before Melissa hit Jamaica there was weather Judgment of a flood of 13 inches of rain in Titusville, Florida. This was Providential Preventative Suffering and a herald of the coming hurricane in Jamaica. The flood in Florida and the hurricane in Jamaica occurred the day before and the day after Day 300, where 300 is for Judgment. This is a sign of those led into sin and those whose sins follow behind them.

1 Timothy 5:24

The sins of some men are quite evident, going before them to judgment; for others, their sins follow after.

Some people are led into sins, while the sins of others are hidden behind them. Judgment is from God in both cases. However, God does not judge sins, since they were already judged on the cross. Works are judged. The reversionist accumulates sins without Rebounding and produces dead works, which God judges.

1 Timothy 5:25

Likewise also, deeds that are good are quite evident, and those which are otherwise cannot be hidden.

Works follow the same pattern as sins. Good works are Divine production. Other kinds of works, like dead works and evil may be produced by people, Satan, or demons. Good works are recognizable as the works of God. And works that are not from God cannot be hidden. Thus, the Titusville flood and Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica were both Divine punishment. They were not isolated incidents. Lack of Grace orientation and harmony in Marriage causes weather judgments. The Jews of Jeremiah's day were enslaved to Baal and refused to Rebound, resulting in weather judgments (Jer 3:1, 2, 3).

Taken together these two verses also explain the Doctrine of Double Punishment, sowing to the wind and reaping the whirlwind (Hos 8:7). Sowing may be Good or evil. Works go before the person who sows. The crops will grow (whether wheat or tares, Matt 13:25f), and the person will reap what he has sown, whether Good or evil (ref. Hos 8:7; Col 3:25).

Regarding the production analogy, the name, Melissa, means bee in Greek. Bees produce honey. Honey combs are six sided and symbolize cosmic strongholds. Bees serve the queen. And bees are managed by Angels and demons. Similarly, women wear bee-hive hairdo's as indication that they serve the queen-bee female Prostitute of Babylon.

The Chart at the time of landfall of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica contains a Mystic Rectangle, a Carafe, and three pairs of planets. The Mystic Rectangle balances two sets of opposition and corresponds to crossed swords of a rebellion and to the flag of Jamaica. Jamaica won its independence in a rebellion of black slaves and Church groups, such as Baptists, against English slave owners. The Carafe is a bottle of Blessing or Cursing. Here it contains the cursing of monstrous Hurricane Melissa.

The three pairs of planets symbolize a flood, for the flooding associated with the hurricane. The three pairs of planets are on cusps, which mean influence from two signs. In addition the two planets taken together have a new meaning. The new meanings are shown in purple.

The Sun is in Midheaven in Libra, for the Sovereign power and authority of God. God created the hurricane and unleashed it on Jamaica in 2025, the year for Sovereignty. Nearby is the Savior Planet, for the sons of Light, or believers in Christ.

The Moon and Last Adam are in conjunction on the Ascendant, for a mirauding band as the description of the devastating hurricane descending on Jamaica. The hurricane was actually a band of weather angels. The Ascendant sets the stage for the day.

The Red Planet and Savior Planet are in conjunction on the cusp of Scorpius, for the dangerous wrath of God. God vented His wrath on the people and endangered their health and well being. Those who fainted in their souls and did not trust God fell into the hands of Satan and his Cosmic System.

The Almighty God Planet was on the Descendant on the cusp of Cancer and Gemini, for the end of a Marriage feast, or a honeymoon failure. This applies to the honeymooners and tourists caught in the trap of Hurricane Melissa.

The God of the Covenants and Redeemer Planet were in conjunction in Pisces on the cusp of Aquarius, for Christian believer priests executing the Christian life in the face of the hurricane.

The Mediator Planet was in Taurus, for success through a mediator or help from a royal official. The Black people in Jamaica under the curse of Ham could have Spiritual freedom in Christ. Others could have Spiritual freedom by rejecting Baal and serving Christ. God's Elect Angels were on hand to help those who turned to God in the crisis (1 Cor 10:13).

Conclusion

Hurricane Melissa was an extremely powerful hurricane that struck Jamaica on October 28, 2025. It carved a path of destruction through the mountains and shut down the tourist resort of Montego Bay on the northern coast. Tourists, honeymooners, and vacationers were forced to ride out the horrific storm and were unable to leave by air, sea, or road due to the damage. Honeymooners had a honeymoon from Hell.

The slow, deliberate movements and power of Hurricane Melissa indicated the wrath of God without mercy. The hurricane made landfall in the Black River valley and traveled Norht Northeast across the mountains and North coast. The path was across the West side of the island, which spared the capitall of Kingston and large cities to the East. The death toll wasn't high and destruction was limited, but God made a byword in Jamaica to be remembered.

Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica on Day 301 two days after a flood of 13 inches of rain in Titusville, Florida that was worse than the flooding associated with hurricanes. The Titusville flood shut down the Space Coast Airport like Hurricane Melissa shut down the Montego Bay airport. TheTitusville flood had onlly one big burst of wind of 11 mph gusting to 15 mph. The Titusville flood and the Jamaica hurricane occurred the day before and the day after Day 300, where 300 is for judgment. So the meaning of the Jamaica hurricane and Titusville flood were related. Both symbolized cursing from the Prostitute of Babylon.
