Image of GodEssence of God

God created man (both male and female) in the image, likeness, and glory of God (Gen 1:26-27; 5:1; 9:6; Jas 3:9; 1 Cor 11:7).  Man (both male and female) is the model of God's essence.  Man has a body, soul, and spirit that correspond to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Trinity).  He possesses the Life and the Light of God.  He was placed on the Earth to glorify God, do His will, and demonstrate His Righteousness.
Then God decreed, "We will make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and they will have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." (Genesis 1:26)
This is the 8th use of the Decree of God in the Re-Creation.  "We will make man" refers to the Trinity.  Man is the Hebrew 'adam, which means man or mankind.  It refers to male and female.  "Image" is the Hebrew tselem, meaning image, icon; essence, referring to the invisible essence of God.  "Image of God" means an icon, a representation of God with body, soul, and spirit.  God is three persons in one with invisible essence.  This is unlike angels, which are only spirits.  The first man, Adam, was a type of Christ (Rom 5:14).  The symbolism is:
Body (Father) with biological life capable of procreating.
Soul (Jesus Christ) with human life and personality.
Spirit (Holy Spirit) with Spiritual life and able to communicate with God and angels.
"Likeness" is the Hebrew demuth, meaning likeness, pattern; referring to functionality; referring to individual personality just as the members of the Godhead have individual personalities.  "Likeness of God" means function like God:  3 in 1; perfect; unique soul personality; ruler of the world like God's rule over creation; mind, heart; volition; communicating with man, God, and angels.  It means representative of God.  Man was created in the likeness - not the essence - of God.  Man was created in the image (representation) and likeness (representative) of God.

Man was to have dominion over the animal kingdom.  This included animals associated with the X, Y, and Z axes (like cattle, fish, and birds).  Man would be the king of the world until he sinned.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female, He created them. (Genesis 1:27)
"Created" is the Hebrew bara', meaning to create - an original creation, as in Gen. 1:1 creation from nothing.  Man was created in the "image of God."  Man with a body, soul, and spirit was the icon, image, representative of God on the Earth.  Man was created perfect in the image of God, but he lost it through sin.  This can only be regained through Christ, who, in Hypostatic Union, is the expression of God's essence (Heb 1:3).  Through Christ, man's image can be transformed into the image of God again (Col 3:10; Eph 4:24).

Man was created "male and female," which indicates Right Man and Right Woman.  This phrase is a summary, which does not bring out the female being created later.  The male and female were created to be husband and wife.

Man's Life, Light, and Destiny

1.  God created man (mankind, male and female) in the image, likeness, and glory of God.
2.  Man is the model of God's essence.
    a.  He has a body, soul, and spirit that correspond to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Trinity).
    b.  He possesses the Life and the Light of God.
    c.  He was placed on the Earth to glorify God, do His will, and demonstrate his Righteousness.
3.  However, man sinned, which brought upon him death, darkness, and slavery to Satan.
4.  Sin attacks from within (OSN, Eph 2:1) and without (Cosmic System, Eph 2:2) and meets in the battlefield of the soul.
5.  Man in sin walks in darkness and serves Satan.
6.  Thus, the Light of God and the darkness of Satan are at war in man.
    a.  God offers man Life and the opportunity to glorify God in Grace.
    b.  Satan offers man the glory of the world, including fame, fortune, and worldly pleasures, that results in death and darkness.
7.  Man is a created being who is a witness for God or Satan in Satan's Appeal Trial.
    a.  God uses man to demonstrate His Righteousness.
    b.  Satan uses man to justify himself and prove that his sin is unworthy of death.
    c.  Man as a created being does not have control over what God or Satan can do to him.
8.  God's Design for man includes the opportunity to be saved and to glorify God to the maximum.  God gives man Life, Light, and freedom in Grace.
9.  Satan uses man for Satan's own evil purposes.  Satan attacks man with death, darkness, and slavery.
10.  God's followers will receive Resurrection Bodies and will live in His glorious presence forever.
11.  Satan's followers will receive the Second Death and share Satan's fate in the Lake of Fire forever.

Glory of Jesus Christ

Just as man is the glory of God, the Lord Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union was the perfect glory of God.
And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us, and we saw His glory, the glory of the uniquely born from the Father, full of Grace and doctrine. (John 1:14)
Jesus Christ, the Son of God in a human body, was observed by men to have glory.  His glory was revealed in fullness on the Mount of Transfiguration when His body appeared as a glorious Resurrection body.  Even though He was a man, everything about Him revealed the glory of God from His virgin birth to His death, burial, and Resurrection.  On Earth, He glorified God the Father.  He was full of Grace and doctrine.  He was the Light of the world.

The glory of the Lord Jesus Christ revealed the Father.

Who (Christ), being the effulgence of His (the Father's) glory, and the exact representation of His essence, also upholding all things by the verbal communication of His power, having Himself accomplished purification for our sins, sat down at the right side of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)
Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union was the effulgence of the Father's glory.  "Effulgence" is the Greek ajpauvgasma (apaugasma), which comes from apo (away from) + augazo (to radiate).  Jesus Christ was the effulgence of the Father's glory like the bright, shining glory of the Sun.  The word, glory (Greek dovxa, doxa), which means shining light, can mean bright, shining radiant light; honor; splendor or majesty.  Glory refers to light production.  The light is Spiritual and cannot be seen, but the analogy is physical light that is visible.

Jesus Christ was "the exact representation of His (the Father's) essence.""Exact representation" is the Greek carakthvr (charakter), meaning a reproduction; copy; facsimile; used originally for an engraving tool, a die, or stamp.  And "essence" is the Greek uJpovstasi" (hupostasis), from hupo (under) + stasis (to stand), meaning standing under; essence; to take upon oneself something extra without losing what was had.  Jesus Christ stood under deity.

Glory of Believers

Believers can also have Divine Glory in them.
But we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the Glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory (of the Lord in Moses) to glory (in the Church), just as from the source of the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
This verse must be understood in its context.  Moses wore a veil over his face after he had been in the presence of the Lord so the congregation would not see the fading glory.  His face glowed after being with the Lord, and the glory would fade away afterward (2 Cor 3:7, 13).  The Scar Tissue of the Soul of Jewish unbelievers corresponds to a veil, which blocks out the Light of the Gospel of Christ.  However, Christians have the veil of scar tissue removed when they believe in Jesus Christ.  Christians can see the Glory of the Lord as in a mirror, the mirror of the soul.  The faces of believers actually glow, and some even radiate divine glory more than the face of Moses.  The Holy Spirit in the Christian transforms him into the "image" of the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union.  The "same image" refers to the Glory of the Lord.

The glory that Moses had under the Law (G1) is compared to the glory of the Church Age Believer (G2).  The glory of the Church Age Believer produced by the Holy Spirit is greater (2 Cor 3:8, 11). "Just as from the source of the Lord the Spirit" is a similar comparison.  This is ratio and proportion.  The glory of Moses compared to the glory of the Church is just as the Lord compared to the Spirit.  When the Lord went to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to the Church (John 14:26; 15:26; 16:7).  Thus, the Church Age is the age of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which is superior to the Age of the Mosaic Law.  Church Age Believers are full of the Glory of the Lord produced by the Holy Spirit.

Glory of Right Man

In the Right Man - Right Woman relationship, the Right Man is the glory of God, and the Right Woman is a responder to the Right Man (1 Cor 11:7).  The glory of the Right Man is symbolized by the Sun, and the glory of the Right Woman is symbolized by the Moon, which has no light of its own and only reflects the light of the Sun (Psa 19:3-4).  The Right Man symbolizes the Lord, and the Right Woman symbolizes His bride (Gen 37:9-10; Psa 19:4; Rev 19:7).

The man reflects God's glory, which means the man must exercise the authority that God gave him (1 Pet 3:7).

You husbands likewise, dwell together with your wives according to knowledge (of Bible Doctrine), as a weaker vessel who is a woman; and grant her honor as a joint-heir of the Grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. (1 Peter 3:7)
The husband (Right Man) is supposed to live with his wife (Right Woman) by executing Bible Doctrine.  The two have a Spiritual relationship that demands Spiritual execution.  She is called a "weaker vessel," which means physically weaker and, by implication, in a weaker, subordinate, position under the man's authority.  He should grant her honor.
Each of you learn to possess his own wife by means of sanctification and honor. (1 Thess 4:4)
"Fellow-heir" refers to election to privilege of the Royal Family of God (Rom 8:17; Eph 3:6).
That the Gentiles are joint-heirs and fellow members of the body and joint-possessors of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. (Ephesians 3:6)
The Right Woman is a "fellow-heir of the Grace of life."  Life includes her human life, Eternal Life, and Spiritual life.  God provides a New life in Christ Jesus at Salvation (Rom 6:4; 2 Cor 5:17; Col 3:10).

Since man is the authority and his head symbolizes authority, he should not have his head covered, e.g. with long hair (1 Cor 11:14).

Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is a dishonor to him? (1 Corinthians 11:14)
Long hair on the male is a symbol of being effeminate.

God provides Life and Light to the Right Man - Right Woman relationship based upon the Right Man (1 Cor 11:7).  God gives Light to both, but the woman's light reflects the glory of the man.  The Right Man and Right Woman go through life together.  They share the same Light.

Woman Created for the Man

The Lord creates the Right Woman as the counterpart of the Right Man to share his life and love and to be intimately united with him in Marriage (1 Cor 11:8-9; Eph 5:31).
1 Corinthians 11:8-9
8 For man is not out from the source of woman, but woman out from the source of man;
9 For indeed Right Man was not created for the purpose of the woman, but Right Woman for the purpose of the Right Man.
Because she is created by God for the man, she is right for the man.  The Right Woman is divinely chosen (elected) for Right Man (Gen 2:18; Gen 24:3-4).  She is God's creation.  The Right Man gives birth to the Right Woman (1 Cor 11:8).  Just as Adam suffered by having his rib removed, the Right Man suffers while his Right Woman is being created for him.

The Right Woman has a spiritual relationship with the Right Man.  She is under his spiritual authority (1 Cor 11:3).

But I want you to understand that the head (authority) of every nobleman (believer) is Christ, and the head (authority) of the woman, the man, and the head (authority) of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3)
The bond of Right Man and Right Woman is inseparable (1 Cor 11:11).
However, neither is Right Woman separate from Right Man nor is Right Man separate from Right Woman in relation to the Lord. (1 Corinthians 11:11)
The Right Man and Right Woman are a corporate system and a team.  God created them for each other, and they are inseparably united until death.  Right Woman is the one and only true love counterpart for Right Man.  She is the only one who is right for him.

The Right Woman is sanctified by Right Man (2 Cor 6:14-17; Eph 5:25-26).

Ephesians 5:25-26
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself as a substitute for her; 26 that having purified her, He might sanctify her by the washing of water by the communicated Word (gospel).
The Right Man - Right Woman relationship, which is fulfilled in Marriage, also symbolizes the relationship between Christ and the Church.  Christ symbolizes the Right Man, and the Church symbolizes the Right Woman.  Jesus Christ died as a substitute for the Church.  Those who believe in Jesus Christ receive Positional Sanctification at Salvation.  Because they were purified from their sins at the Cross, they can be consecrated, set apart, to God.  Sanctify means to set apart from the world and consecrate to God.  Positional Sanctification is God the Holy Spirit entering a believer into union with Christ at Salvation.  This happens when a person believes the communicated Word (the gospel), which is symbolized by water (Isa 55:1; Rev 22:17).

The Love of Jesus Christ for the Church was demonstrated by His willingness to die for her.

"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
This is the way husbands should love their wives and the Right Man should love his Right Woman.  The Love of Christ for the Church was divine.  Similarly, the Right Man should Love his Right Woman with Divine Love.  Just as Jesus Christ went to the Cross for the Church (and all mankind), the Right Man must be willing to die for his Right Woman.  This is called Eclipse Testing.  The death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is symbolized by an eclipse.

It is possible to survive Eclipse Testing with physical life, but it may not be.  The test of true love is to be willing to die for another.  The sign of true love is a cross on the mount under the forefinger at the end of the Heart Line (illustration).  When the Right Man suffers Eclipse Testing for his Right Woman, he sanctifies her.  However, if he fails Eclipse Testing, he will die the sin leading to death.  In Eclipse Testing, the man suffers because the woman is in a state of sin.  If the man passes the test, the woman will be sanctified from her sin.  Of course, this is only possible because the Lord Jesus Christ already paid for all sins.

There are other ways besides Eclipse Testing whereby the man sanctifies his Right Woman or wife.  The ways include:  intercessory prayer, exercising authority, leading out of darkness, showing her the light, executing the Spiritual life, and providing Bible Doctrine.

Beauty

The Right Woman brings beauty and grace to the Right Man (1 Pet 3:3-5).  The woman is designed to be beautiful, especially to her Right Man.  The antediluvian angels were so enamored with the women that they married them.  However, the woman's inner beauty is more important than her external beauty.
Do not let your adorning be external, such as, braiding the hair and wearing gold ornaments or putting on dresses. (1 Peter 3:3)
Women have always been interested in enhancing their beauty.  They use cosmetics, hair-do's, jewelry, and fashionable dresses.  Braiding the hair was high fashion in the time of Peter.  Braiding usually symbolizes human good, but the point in this verse is not that any of the things mentioned were sins.  The point is that inner beauty is more important.  True beauty is more than skin deep.
But the hidden personality of the heart with the imperishable quality of a humble and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. (1 Peter 3:4)
"The hidden personality of the heart" is more important than external adornment.  The woman's personality is expressed from the heart, the right lobe of the soul, unlike the man, who thinks from his left lobe.  The heart is the location for love, which is characteristic of the woman.  "A humble and quiet spirit" has lasting value that will bring eternal reward.  Humility is the woman's respect for authority, especially the authority of God and her Right Man.  A woman with true humility has inner beauty.  A "quiet spirit" refers to her disposition.  She is composed, not loud and boisterous.  She has grace and is gracious.
For you see, in this way in former times also the holy women having confidence in God customarily adorned themselves by obeying their own husbands. (1 Peter 3:5)
"In former times" refers to the ancient world and tradition.  "Holy" is the Greek hagios, which means dedicated to God, holy.  Holy women are those "having confidence in God."  This is the Greek elpizo, which is usually translated hope but means having confidence in.  Having humility and confidence in God are signs of Grace Orientation.

Light

Light in the Right Woman refers to her production, how she lets her light shine.  The light production of the Right Woman complements her Right Man.  She completes him as he fulfills her.  The glory of the Right Woman is symbolized by the Moon, which has no light of its own but reflects the light of the Sun (Gen 37:9-10).

The glory of the woman is the light production of her Spiritual life.  She is the reflected glory of her Right Man (1 Cor 11:7).  As such, she is like a mirror that reflects the Right Man.  The glory of the woman also includes the honor she receives from her Right Man (1 Thess 4:4; 1 Pet 3:7).  The man shows her honor in all kinds of ways.  He stands for her, opens doors for her, and lets her go first.

Divine Good

The Right Woman produces Divine Good (Prov 18:22; 31:12) and is a helper (Gen 2:18; Prov 31:27).  Divine Good is the Grace production of God.  The Right Woman is herself Divine Good production.
He who discovers Right Woman finds Divine Good
And obtains Grace from the LORD. (Proverbs 18:22)
Discovering Right Woman means identification of the Right Woman in the Identification Phase of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.  The implication is discovering and marrying Right Woman.  The man who discovers his Right Woman "finds Divine Good."  She is Divine Good from God for her Right Man.  The Lord provides the Right Woman in Grace (Prov 19:14; 31:10).
She does him Good and not evil
All the days of her life. (Proverbs 31:12)
The Right Woman (and wife) performs Divine Good for her Right Man all the days of her life. The  Right Man - Right Woman relationship, like Marriage, lasts till death.  Every day the Right Woman is producing Divine Good for her Right Man.  This means she is Filled with the Holy Spirit and executing the Spiritual life.  Divine Good must be produced in Grace.  She does not get involved in evil, which would be destructive to her relationship with Right Man.

Right Woman is a helper of Right Man (or her husband) (Gen 2:18; Prov 31:27).  When the Lord decreed to make the Right Woman, He said, "I will make him a helper corresponding to him" (Gen 2:18).  The Right Woman is a helper-counterpart for Right Man.  Her help for the Right Man includes more than chores.  It includes supporting and helping him in executing the Spiritual life.  The Right Man - Right Woman relationship should be spiritual, and the woman, who is also a believer-priest in the Church Age, should help her husband in the Spiritual life.  She should perform Divine Good, follow his lead, serve him and support him, and intercede for him in prayer.  She should have Spiritual Self-Esteem in her own life so that she does not become a burden to him or a spiritual liability.  By having spiritual freedom herself, she will leave her Right Man free to execute his Spiritual life without being hindered by her.

She looks out for the ways of her family,
And she does not eat the bread of idleness. (Proverbs 31:27)
The Right Woman (and wife) is industrious.  She fulfills her role or job, whatever it is.  She is not lazy.  She does not waste her Spiritual life in fruitless activities, like excessive socializing, chat groups, telephone (or cell phone) conversations, gossip, or watching television.

Service

The Right Woman serves the Right Man and respects him (Eph 5:33; Tit 2:5; 1 Pet 3:6).
In any case, however, you also, each one of you individually, let him so love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife see to it that she respects her own husband. (Ephesians 5:33)
The Right Man is commanded to love his Right Woman (wife), and the Right Woman is commanded to respect her Right Man (or husband).  Respect follows her requirement to be submissive to him.  Respect is higher than submission.  Not only should the Right Woman serve the Right Man, but she should respect him.  There will be times when the man is wrong or even part of an authority counterattack.  The woman must handle these problems with dignity and respect.  She should do her job as unto the Lord just as Queen Vashti who refused to obey her husband, King Ahasuerus, when he was outside authority (Esther 1:10-12).

The Right Woman should follow the leadership of Right Man (1 Pet 3:1-2).

1 Peter 3:1-2
1 In the same way, you wives, submit to your own husbands so that even if any are disobedient to the Word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives 2 When they observe your respectful, virtuous behavior.
The Right Woman and wife is commanded to submit to her own Right Man (husband).  The Right Woman is under the Spiritual authority of the Right Man, and the wife is under the temporal authority of her husband, regardless of whether he is her Right Man.  So the difference between the Right Man - Right Woman relationship and Marriage is that the Right Man has Spiritual authority in the former and temporal authority in the latter.  In other words, the Right Man cannot command the Right Woman to do anything; whereas, the husband can command his wife.  However, the wife's submission should go beyond only doing what she is commanded.

The woman who is the Right Woman or wife of a man who is disobedient to the Word, has a major problem.  If the man is out of line, she is not expected to follow him into reversionism.  In this case, she may win the man over by keeping silent while submitting to him and demonstrating with her behavior what is right.  The man will take note of the woman's "respectful, virtuous behavior."  Dale Evans took her step-children to Church, and thereby, won her husband, Roy, to the Lord.  He decided to go to Church with them and got saved.1

The word, "submit," is the Greek hupotasso, which means to submit, render obedience, or obey.  The word does not mean so much "to obey" as "to submit."2  This is important, since the husband is not expected to tell his wife everything to do.  She is supposed to submit to him and serve him.  While it is true that he does have temporal authority over the Marriage, the Spiritual relationship is more of a leader and follower.  The woman must choose to follow him and respond to him without being told.  The woman can only be submissive to the man by obeying the Lord.  The promise in the Marriage vows to obey the husband really misses the point.  The Right Woman should be obeying the Lord and submitting to, or serving, the husband.

The Right Woman should be submissive to the Right Man (Eph 5:22; Col 3:18).

You women, be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord (Ephesians 5:22)
The words "be subject to" are not actually in verse 22 but are implied from verse 21.  "Be subject to" is, again, the Greek hupotasso, which means to submit, render obedience, or obey.  Before Marriage, the Right Woman must submit to the Right Man spiritually.  She must take her clues from the Spiritual life and execute her Spiritual life in obedience to the Holy Spirit.  Since her life is to prepare for her Right Man, in so doing she will be submissive to her Right Man.  If she agrees to marry the man, then he will also have temporal authority over her.

AlignmentThis verse is ratio and proportion:  women:husbands::women:Lord.  Both the Right Man and Right Woman whether single or married should be obedient to the Lord.  This requires alignment of the X, Y, Z, and Time axes of the Spiritual life.  Relationship to the Lord (women:Lord) means:

X - Righteousness - faith, doctrine, purity
Y - Love - Personal love, adoration, praise, worship
Z - Authority - respect, submissiveness, subordination, homage
Time - Grace oriented, Spiritual Rapport
Relationship of the woman to the husband (Right Man) (women:husbands) means:
X - walking in Faith, metabolizing & applying Bible Doctrine
Y - walking in Love, deference, admiration, personal love
Z - under authority, Filling of Holy Spirit, connected to Intimacy Room
Time - Harmonious Rapport, Grace-oriented, synchronized to Plan of God
HairThe hair of the Right Woman is her glory and a symbol of submission to her Right Man (1 Cor 11:15).
But if a woman wears long hair, it is her glory because her hair is given to her instead of a covering (or a veil). (1 Corinthians 11:15)
The woman's long hair indicates her submission to her Right Man.  Rather than wear a veil over her head, which was the custom for Jewish women of the day, the woman's hair takes the place of the veil, which indicates submission to authority.  The word, "covering," is the Greek peribovlaion (peribolaion), from peri (around) + ballo (cast) = a covering; veil.  In contrast, short hair on the woman is a sign of contentiousness, while very short hair or being shaved for the woman is a sign of shame and disgrace, like being jaded (1 Cor 11:5-6).3

The woman's head should be veiled in some way, e.g. with her hair or a veil.  Her hair is like a veil that covers her head.  The woman who does not have her head covered is a casualty in the Spiritual Life.  She cannot pray or worship.  The woman must remain under authority to live the Spiritual Life; otherwise, she will become a casualty in the Cosmic System.  A woman who tries to live the Spiritual life outside authority is dishonorable.  A woman who is dishonorable through violation of authority is like a woman who has had her head shaved.  She has been disgraced, dishonored.

Love

The Right Woman symbolizes love and receives Right Man's love (SOS 2:7; 3:5; 8:4; Eph 5:28-29).  As explained previously under Function, this love includes both human soul love (Eph 5:28-29) and Divine Love (Eph 5:25).  Right Man and Right Woman are also designed to have conjugal love (Eph 5:31), but this is for Marriage only.  Before Marriage, the woman, who is a responder, must resist the temptation to have sex.
"I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does (hinds) of the field,
That you arouse not nor awaken love,
Until she (love) pleases." (Song of Solomon 2:7)
The Shulamite woman was lovesick as she tried to fend off the amorous passes of Solomon, who was trying to arouse her sexual love.  The conflict in her soul was intensified because her Right Man was her Shepherd Lover, not Solomon.

Happiness

The Right Woman brings happiness to her Right Man (Prov 5:18-19; Isa 62:4-5; Jer 7:34).  The Happiness of the woman should be Divine Happiness from God.  As she lives her life as unto the Lord, she will be the recipient of Divine Happiness, which she can share with her Right Man.  It is a pleasure to be around happy people, who do not drag others down with negativity.  People who are bitter, whining, or complaining, destroy both happiness and love.  They nullify the Right Man - Right Woman relationship and produce stress in others.

The Right Woman's Happiness is to be even greater in Marriage.  The wedding feast was a time of great happiness and celebration.  And sex in Marriage, especially for the woman, is even greater happiness and exhilaration.

Proverbs 5:18-19
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 As a loving hind and a graceful ibex (chamois, mountain antelope), let her breasts satisfy (intoxicate, ravah = make drunk sexually) you at all times; be exhilarated (drunk, high shanah, to reel, swerve) always with her love.

Rejection of Right Man - Right Woman

When the Lord leads the Right Woman to the Right Man, the relationship requires spiritual identification and spiritual execution.  Either party can reject the other.  This is usually done out of ignorance.  The carnal or immature believer may not be in the habit of obeying God.  Or the person may be more interested in someone else.  One may make the identification, and the other may not.  Or both may fail to recognize what God has done.  Regardless, failure to accept God's Grace provision of Right Man or Right Woman amounts to rejection, which has serious consequences.

Rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship leads to mental adultery, darkness, reversionism, and slavery to the Cosmic System (Deut 7:3-4; 2 Cor 6:14–17; Heb 13:4).  Of course, sin has similar consequences for the one who does not Rebound.  However, the Right Man - Right Woman relationship is more fundamental.  Problems with it are at the root of a multitude of other problems with various symptoms.  In other words, when the Right Man - Right Woman relationship has been rejected, the problems with carnality and reversionism that follow are merely symptoms of the deeper problem.  The result will be a wasted life, ending in the sin leading to death.

Marriage of Believer and Unbeliever Prohibited

When Israel entered the Promised Land, the Jews were prohibited from intermarrying with the inhabitants of the land (Deut 7:3-4).  The reason was because the Jews were believers and the inhabitants of the land were idolaters.  There is no way for a Right Man - Right Woman relationship or marriage to succeed between a believer and unbeliever.  There is a prohibition against a Christian marrying an unbeliever (2 Cor 6:14).  The explanation for this strikes at the heart of what happens in rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.

Stop being unequally yoked to unbelievers; for you see, what partnership has Righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)
"Unequally yoked" is a strong word picture to describe the marriage of a believer and unbeliever.  It is the Greek eJterozugevw (heterozugeo), from heteros (another of different kind) + zugeo (to yoke).  It comes from the prohibition in the Mosaic Law against plowing with an ox and an ass (Deut 22:10).  The ox symbolized the Lord Jesus Christ and a believer, while the ass symbolized a lawless unbeliever.  A yoke symbolizes slavery or being under authority.  Marriage of a believer and an unbeliever is like plowing with an ox and an ass.

The explanation for the prohibition consists of two dichotomies, which correspond to ratio and proportion.  First, "what partnership has Righteousness and lawlessness?"  Righteousness is capitalized because it refers to the Righteousness of God.  The believer has the Righteousness of God, while the unbeliever is lawless.  There can be no partnership between believer and unbeliever on the X-axis because Righteousness and lawlessness cannot combine.  Second, "or what fellowship has light with darkness?"  Light, which symbolizes the believer, is separate from darkness of the unbeliever.  Thus, believer and unbeliever cannot have fellowship on the Y-axis because Light and darkness are always separate.

Rejection of Right Man or Right Woman is just like attempting to marry a believer and an unbeliever.  The person who rejects the Right Man - Right Woman relationship enters into lawlessness and darkness.  The person enters reversionism where there cannot be true love or a legitimate partnership, and there cannot be Christian fellowship.  The problems are spiritual.  A person who tries to form good relationships in the Cosmic System is doomed to failure.  An ox cannot plow with an ass.

Now, Paul could have stopped here because he justified the prohibition with good reasons.  However, he carries the explanation even farther.  In so doing, he provides the Spiritual  explanation for why there should be no marriage between a believer and unbeliever; and this, in turn, reveals the problems with rejection of Right Man and Right Woman.

And what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what part has a believer in common with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:15)
Like the previous verse, there are two more dichotomies that are ratio and proportion.  First, "what harmony has Christ with Belial?"  "Harmony" is the Greek sumfwvnhsi" (sumphonesis), from sun (together) + phone (sound), meaning harmony or agreement.  The implication is that Right Man - Right Woman (husband and wife) should have harmonious rapport.  "Belial" is a Hebrew word, meaning worthlessness and referring to the devil. It signifies "deep-rooted moral corruption and also abysmal destruction."4  It is used in Psalm 18:4, where it should be translated perdition.  Christ and Belial (the devil) do not have spiritual harmony, nor is there harmony in their followers (1 Cor 10:21).  The opposition of Christ and Belial is the reason for the Angelic Conflict.

The second dichotomy is "or what part has a believer in common with an unbeliever?"  Believers, who are identified with Christ, have no part in common with unbelievers, who belong to the devil.  So, Christ is to Belial as believer is to unbeliever.  The implication is that rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship destroys spiritual harmony between the two.  Right Man and Right Woman are designed to have harmonious rapport, but rejection by either party destroys the harmony.  The big deal is that the  two are tied together spiritually, but when one of them rejects the other, dissonance replaces harmony.  The dissonance is spiritual, which means the guilty person sows spiritual discord.  Spiritual discord is both self-destructive and destructive to others.

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?  For you see, we are the temple of the Living God, just as God has said, " I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. (2 Corinthians 6:16)
This is the spiritual dichotomy, "what agreement has the temple of God with idols?"  There is no agreement  between the temple of God and idols.  Idols are the symbols of Satan, who opposes God.  The believer's body is "the temple of the Living God," since he is indwelt by the Holy Spirit along with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  The temple of God was symbolized by the Tabernacle of Israel.  Thus, believer and unbeliever cannot have a Spiritual life together.  The Spiritual life is life.  It is what the Christian lives all the time.  For the Christian to marry an unbeliever would be tantamount to rejecting the Spiritual life because the unbeliever would have no part in it.  This strikes at the heart of rejection of Right Man - Right Woman.  It is rejection of God's Grace provision and the Spiritual life.  If God is for the Right Man - Right Woman relationship, the one who rejects it is rejecting God.
"Therefore, come out from their midst, and be separate," says the Lord, "and stop touching the unclean thing, and I Myself will receive you." (2 Corinthians 6:17)
Israel was commanded to separate from the world (Isa 52:11; Jer 50:8), and so is the Christian (1 John 2:15-16).  The believer must separate from the world.  However, Marriage is joining together; therefore, marrying an unbeliever (who is in the world) is a dilemma.  Similarly, Right Man - Right Woman is spiritual union.  When one rejects that union and goes into the world (Cosmic System), it produces the same dilemma.  The believer is commanded to separate from the world, but how can he separate from Right Man or Right Woman?

"And stop touching the unclean thing."  Israel was commanded not to touch anything that was unclean (such as a corpse).  However, Marriage involves touching, but the believer should not touch that which is unclean (the unbeliever).  So, Marriage between a believer and unbeliever would present a dilemma.  Similarly, rejecting the Right Man - Right Woman relationship is tantamount to becoming an unbeliever.  Although the person cannot lose his Salvation, he is behaving as an unbeliever because he is rejecting God's Grace provision.  Thus, the same problems associated with marriage of a believer and an unbeliever are also associated with rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.

Mental Adultery

Adultery is a serious attack on Marriage.  Adultery was punishable by death under the Mosaic Law.  However, mental attitude adultery, which occurs only in the heart, is an attack upon Marriage as well as the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.

Matthew 5:27-28
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; 28 But I say to you, that everyone who looks at a woman in order to lust for her already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Jesus Christ explained mental adultery as lusting after a woman in the heart, which is called today fantasizing.  This is lust after the wrong woman or wrong man.  It is rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.  Thus, the person who commits mental adultery is rejecting the Right Man or Right Woman.  That person will be in a state of sin in the Cosmic System.

Job recognized mental adultery as violation of the integrity of Marriage.

“I have made a covenant with my eyes;
How then could I gaze at a virgin? (Job 31:1)
Job understood that lusting after a woman was a sin.  The word, "virgin," in the ancient world referred to a young woman of marriageable age.  She might be married or unmarried.
Job 31:9-10
9 "If my heart has been enticed by a woman,
Or I have lurked at my neighbor's doorway,
10 May my wife grind to another,
And let others kneel down over her.
Job explained that adultery was not his problem.  His heart had not been enticed by a woman, nor had he lurked at his neighbor's doorway, which describes an adulterer.  If this had occurred, then his wife might "grind to another" and "others kneel down over her" to have sex with her.  Grinding is a metaphor for having sex based on the analogy of mill stones grinding against each another.

The person who rejects the Right Man - Right Woman relationship and tries to have a relationship, even in the heart, with the wrong one falls into mental adultery.

Reversionism

Reversionism is the lifestyle of a person who has rejected the Faith and returned to a life of sin and lawlessness.  In other words, the person reverts back to the life of an unbeliever.  Reversionism is turning away from the Spiritual life to live in a state of sin in perpetual carnality while refusing to Rebound.  Rejection of Right Man - Right Woman is a ticket into Reversionism.

Every nobleman while praying or prophesying having something down over his head, dishonors his head. (1 Corinthians 11:4)
"Nobleman" here is the Greek aner, which means nobleman, or Right Man.  Here it refers to a believer in Christ.  "Praying or prophesying" were legitimate activities in church in that day.  Today, prophesying involves only the communication of Bible Doctrine by the Pastor-Teacher.  "Something down over his head" refers to long hair, a hat, prayer shawl, or anything on his head.  It also refers to any authority problem, since the head symbolizes authority, and the Right Man has spiritual authority over the Right Woman.  The man with "something down over his head, dishonors his head."  This refers to dishonoring the authority of Christ over him and his authority over the Right Woman.  This one is in reversionism.
Summary

1.  A nobleman refers to a believer in Christ.
2.  A nobleman who has something down over his head, e.g. long hair or wearing a hat when he is preaching or praying, is demonstrating through his behavior disrespect for authority.
3.  The nobleman has authority, but if he violates authority, he dishonors his own head and the authority of God.
4.  Men who allow their wives to sit on their heads and who say, "Yes, dear," to her demands dishonor their heads.
5.  The man must be an authority to exercise legitimate authority.
6.  The Right Man is expected to exercise authority over the Right Woman.
7.   The Right Man's authority over the Right Woman is the basis for her protection from the Cosmic System as well as her freedom.

The woman who rejects the Right Man also enters Reversionism.
But every woman praying or prophesying with the head uncovered (unveiled), dishonors her head (authority);  for it is one and the same as if she had been shaved. (1 Corinthians 11:5)
In the time this was written, women were permitted to pray and prophesy in church.  However, with the completion of the canon of scripture, this was changed so that woman should keep silent in church.  The woman with her head uncovered refers to a woman with an authority problem.  "Uncovered" is the Greek ajkatakavlupto" (akatakaluptos), from a (not) + kata (down over) + kaluptos (hidden), meaning uncovered, unveiled.  The woman's hair is a covering (verse 15).  The woman with her head uncovered "dishonors her head (authority)."  She dishonors Christ and her Right Man.  Paul adds that such a woman should have her head shaved, which would be a sign of shame.  This is sarcasm and not intended to be practiced.
Summary

1.  The woman's head should be veiled in some way, e.g. with her hair or a veil.  Her hair is like a veil that covers her head.
2.  The woman who does not have her head covered is a casualty in the Spiritual Life.  She cannot pray or worship.
3.  The woman must remain under authority to live the Spiritual Life; otherwise, she will become a casualty in the Cosmic System.
4.  A woman who tries to live the Spiritual Life outside authority is dishonorable.
5.  A woman who is dishonorable through violation of authority is like a woman who has had her head shaved. She has been disgraced, dishonored.

Reversionism destroys capacity for the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.  This may be reflected in the hair length of the man and woman.
1 Corinthians 11:14-15
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 But if a woman wears long hair, it is her glory because her hair is given to her instead of a covering (or a veil).
The long-haired male is effeminate, and the short-haired female is contentious.  These have lost their objectivity through the subjectivity of Revisionism.  However, long hair on the woman is her glory.

Rejection of True Love

Rejection of Right Man or Right Woman for whatever reason turns out to be a serious offence.  It is second only to rejection of God, who is the believer's first and foremost Right One.  The Christians at Ephesus had this problem.

‘But I have this against you, that you have left your first Love. (Revelation 2:4)
Reverse Process ReversionismTheir "first Love" was the Love for Christ.  Rejecting the Love for Christ is a way into Reversionism.    Rejecting the Right One, or one's True Love, propels a person into a special class of Reversionism called Reverse Process Reversionism (RPR).  Reverse Process Reversionism means turning away from the Right One, or one's True Love (e.g. God, Right Man or Right Woman), to pursue a substitute, or paramour.  The individual in this judgment is under strong attraction to the paramour while strongly rejecting the Right One.  It is pushing away the Right One and pulling in the paramour.  It is divine discipline, and the Lord avenges anyone who interferes in the judgment.  Technically, the terms reversionism and Reverse Process Reversionism are applied to one who never Rebounds, while carnality is used to describe a believer who temporarily engages in such activity but remembers to Rebound.

Lamech entered into Reverse Process Reversionism by becoming the first polygamist in history.  He rejected his Right Woman and married two women, Adah and Zillah (Gen 4:19).  Adah means ornament.  She was beautiful and decked herself with jewelry.  Zillah means shady.  She was a shady, or darkened, type.  These two paramours aroused Lamech's lust by opposite means.  One made herself attractive with jewelry and the other dressed down as a shady character.  One was sophisticated and the other vulgar.  The number for Reverse Process Reversionism is 77 because Lamech said if Cain were avenged seven-fold, then Lamech seventy-seven fold (Gen. 4:24).

Rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ or Right Man or Right Woman is very serious because they are the strongest love relationships that God provides in life.  Thus, Reverse Process Reversionism is a very intense punishment with serious consequences.  Rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ plays into the hands of Satan.  And rejecting Right Man or Right Woman vacates the Intimacy Room, which leaves the soul vulnerable to cheap substitutes and paramours.  A person in RPR is in a state of sin in the Cosmic System as would be the case for any reversionist.  However, the person in RPR falls under strong delusion because the punishment fits the crime, and God's greatest love relationships have been rejected.  The person who rejects the Love of God or Love for Right Man or Right Woman will not escape without serious punishment.

When the Right Man or Right Woman is rejected and the Intimacy Room is no longer functional due to being in a state of sin, the person in RPR becomes subjective.  Without the Right Man or Right Woman in the soul and under the influence of the Old Sin Nature, the soul is attracted to paramours.  Illusions open holes through which the emotion flows into the Cosmic System.  Attempts to substitute the paramour for Right Man or Right Woman leads to obsessiveness.  There is no objectivity, and the soul becomes agitated and frustrated.  The frantic search for happiness does not satisfy.  This sets the stage for coping mechanisms that cannot calm the soul or the body.

RPR from rejection of Right Man or Right Woman can lead to all manner of illicit sexual desires and perversions.  Engaging in fornication or adultery can lead to even more intensified discipline, which includes severe suffering.  Emotional Revolt of the Soul coupled with the aberrant illusions and insatiable lusts of RPR can cause Scar Tissue of the Soul, mental illnesses, and physical infirmities.7  And the divine punishment can include all manner of marital, social, criminal, and financial problems.

RPR explains the sexual frustration and wild chasing of teens.  Even before the identification of Right Man or Right Woman, young people must behave as if the Right One were at home in the soul.  They must keep themselves pure and avoid illicit sex.  They must behave as those who are waiting for the Right One to come along and avoid the subjectivity of chasing paramours.  Paramours are losers and users.  Young people must live the Spiritual life and avoid intimacy with paramours.  Having fun does not require violating Divine Design.  The pleasure of the moment is not worth the displeasure of God and the punishment that follows.

Prostitute of Babylon

Satan attacks Right Man - Right Woman and Marriage through the Prostitute of Babylon.  The term comes from the High Priestess and chief prostitute in the temple of Babylon, who was the consort of demons and the Evil King of Babylon, and who had great power over the civil government and commerce.  Jezebel was the great example of the Prostitute of Babylon.  Any woman under demon influence can become a Prostitute of Babylon, and any man can be influenced by the same demons and succumb to her power.5

Demon AttackWhen the Right Man or Right Woman has been rejected, the Intimacy Room of the Edification Complex of the Soul will be empty and no longer occupied by Right Man or Right Woman.  The person is no longer remembering the Right Man or Right Woman.  The empty Intimacy Room is an open door for demon attack.  The demon can influence the soul through the vacuum from the empty Intimacy Room.  The soul will fill  with darkness from the Cosmic System.  The solution to the problem is to resist the devil (James 4:7) and think about the Right Man or Right Woman.

Israel was attacked by the Prostitute of Babylon though the Midianite women in the time of Balaam just before entering the Promised Land (Num 25:1-3).6  Satan sent the attack to destroy Israel by undermining the foundations of the Client Nation in the Divine Institutions of Right Man -  Right Woman and Marriage Culture.  After King David secured freedom for Israel through military victory, Satan counterattacked the Kingdom of Solomon through the Prostitute of Babylon.  Solomon's great harem of 700 wives and 300 concubines was filled with the Prostitutes of Babylon.  He violated the Law against marrying foreigners (Deut 7:3-4; 1 Kings 11:1-2).

1 Kings 11:1-2, NAS
1 Now King Solomon loved many foreign women along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women, 2 from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the sons of Israel, “You shall not associate with them, neither shall they associate with you, for they will surely turn your heart away after their gods.” Solomon held fast to these in love.
Prior to the fall of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, the nation was destroyed from within through the Prostitute of Babylon (Jer 2:20; 3:3, 13).  The rains, which are necessary for an agricultural economy, were withheld.  Rain is associated with the female (Right Woman).  Floods symbolize promiscuity and droughts symbolize legalism and hardness of the heart.
Therefore, the showers have been withheld (recession); there has been no latter rain (depression).  Yet, you had a prostitute woman's forehead; you refused to be ashamed. (Jeremiah 3:3)
"Prostitute woman" is the Hebrew zanah (prostitute) + 'ishah (woman), which normally refers to the Right Woman but here refers to the wrong woman, or one who has rejected the Right Man - Right Woman relationship.  The "prostitute woman's forehead" could have been a visible sign (Gen 38:15-23), but it also symbolized a hardened mental attitude (Ezek 3:7-9; Isa 3:9; 48:4).  These people didn't know how to blush (Jer 6:15; 8:12), and they were not ashamed of being a laughingstock.

After the fall of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, Satan again attacked the Jews in captivity in Babylon through the Prostitute of Babylon (Neh 13:23-26; Ezra 9:2).

The Prostitute of Babylon counterattacked the Church at Pergamum, just as in the time of Balaam (Rev 2:14).  This was an attack upon Right Man - Right Woman and Marriage Culture.

'But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a baited trap before the sons of Israel, to eat meat sacrificed to idols, and to practice prostitution. (Revelation 2:14)
Balaam, who was in Monetary Reversionism, taught King Balak to use idolatry and prostitution to destroy Israel.  The idolatry was the worship of Baal, which was Reverse Process Reversionism from rejection of the Lord.  And the prostitution was Reverse Process Reversionism from rejection of Right Woman and pursuit of the Midianite and Moabite prostitutes, who were the Prostitutes of Babylon.  The prostitutes were the "baited trap" of Satan, who sent his demons into the prostitutes to lure the men of Israel into the Cosmic system to their destruction.

The Church at Thyatira was also attacked by the Prostitute of Babylon, who was called Jezebel.

'But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray, so that they practice prostitution and eat things sacrificed to idols. (Revelation 2:20)
The Christians were reprimanded for even tolerating Jezebel.  The Christians at Thyatira who refused to obey the doctrine of Right Man - Right Woman, were under the power of the Prostitute of Babylon.  They were also in Reverse Process Reversionism from rejecting God and Right Woman.  After rejecting God, they practiced idolatry and ate things sacrificed to idols.  And after rejecting Right Woman, they fornicated with the Prostitute of Babylon.

The Prostitute of Babylon is active in most, if not all, churches in the world today.  She may not be actively burning sacrifices to Baal, but she is under demon influence and active in the church.

Rejection of the Lord

Rejection of Right Man or Right Woman is rejection of the Lord.

"For the LORD calls you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Even as the wife of youth when she is rejected," says your God. (Isaiah 54:6)
The Lord Jesus Christ will again call Israel to be His wife in the Millennium.  She (Israel) is called "a wife forsaken" (Isa 49:14; 50:1-2).  Now, the Lord did not reject Israel.  Israel rejected Him and consequently had to be delivered into the Fifth Cycle of Discipline (destruction by a foreign army).  Because Israel rejected the Lord, the Church was called out to be His bride.  The nation of Israel will again be called to be the Lord's wife and the Client Nation in the Millennium.

The principle of doctrine is that rejection of Right Man - Right Woman by either party brings grief to the other one like "the wife of youth when she is rejected."  And rejection of the Right Man - Right Woman relationship is rejection of the Lord, who gave the relationship in Grace.

While Israel was in Babylonian captivity, the people violated the principle of Right Man - Right Woman by marrying foreign wives in violation of the Law (Ezra 10:2; Neh 13:27).  This was also rejection of the Lord.

And Shecaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said to Ezra, “We have been unfaithful to our God, and have married foreign women from the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope for Israel in spite of this. (Ezra 10:2, NAS)

“Do we then hear about you that you have committed all this great evil by acting unfaithfully against our God by marrying foreign women?” (Nehemiah 13:27, NAS)

About 100 years after the return from captivity in Babylon, Israel again rejected Right Man - Right Woman and married foreigners.
"Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother to desecrate the covenant of our fathers? (Malachi 2:10)
The implication is that the Jews were all one family.  "The covenant of our fathers" refers to the Abrahamic Covenant in which the Lord chose Israel to be His Client Nation.  Dealing treacherously is the Hebrew bagad, which means to deal treacherously, faithlessly, deceitfully, such as in the marriage covenant, property rights, contracts, or other covenants.  The Jews had divorced their Jewish wives and married foreign women.  When they married foreign women, they were desecrating the Abrahamic Covenant as well as the Marriage Covenant.
"Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has desecrated the sanctuary of the Lord which He loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god. (Malachi 2:11)
"Judah" refers to the nation of Israel.  "An abomination" refers to idolatrous practices, such as intermarriage with idolaters.  "The sanctuary of the LORD" refers not to the temple but to the nation (Psa. 114:2; Deut. 7:6; 14:2; Jer. 2:3).  The sin that desecrated the Client Nation was that Israel had "married the daughter of a foreign god."  "The daughter of a foreign god" refers to a young female foreigner, who is an unbeliever and worshipper of a demon-god, i. e. a Prostitute of Babylon.
"The LORD will cut off from the tents of Jacob to the man who does this, everyone who awakes and answers, and everyone who brings an offering to the LORD of the Armies." (Malachi 2:12)
Violation of the Law of Marriage will lead to the sin unto death for everyone who is guilty.  Israel is called Jacob here because it will not be receiving the blessing of maturity.
"And this is another thing you do: you cover the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping and with groaning, because He no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand. (Malachi 2:13)
Even though they weep tears at the altar, the Lord will no longer accept their sacrifices because of their sin (Deut. 31:16-18; Judg. 3:12; 1 Pet 3:7).  Rejection of Right Man - Right Woman and Marriage Culture amounts to rejection of the Lord and the Spiritual life.  The Lord will not hear prayers or accept sacrifices from those who violate the Right Man - Right Woman relationship (1 Peter 3:7).
"Yet you say, 'For what reason?' Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion and the wife of your covenant. (Malachi 2:14)
The Jewish men divorced their Jewish wives to marry foreign women.  Marriage is holy and the covenant of God (Prov. 2:17).
"But not one has done so who has a remnant of the Spirit.  And what did the one do?  He sought seed of God.  Therefore, take heed for your spirit, and against the wife of your youth, do not deal treacherously. (Malachi 2:15)
"A remnant of the Spirit" is like having an ounce of sense (or reason) in the Spiritual life.  Those who violate Right Man - Right Woman don't have the least bit of doctrine.  "The one" refers to Abraham, who might be a possible exception to refute this accusation.  "Therefore, take heed for your spirit" means be careful to keep your own human spirit in tact and, with it, your Spiritual life.  In the Church Age, it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  "And against the wife of your youth do not deal treacherously" means don't divorce your wife or violate the principle of Right Man - Right Woman or Marriage Culture.

Darkness

One of the reasons for rejection of the Right Man or Right Woman may be due to attraction to someone else.  If the woman is the glory of her Right Man, it follows that she is not the glory of the wrong man.  She is not the glory of the wrong man, even if she marries him.  The woman reflects the darkness of the wrong man.  Women are responders.  They reflect the light of the one to whom they respond, and that reflection may be darkness rather than light.
