Heralds of Easter 2025 

April 20, 2025 (Day 120):  Easter is considered the most Holy day in the Christian Church calendar by both Catholics and Protestants.  This year Easter is celebrated on April 20 in 2025.  It commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  After He paid for the sins of the world, Jesus died physically.  His soul and spiritual body went into Paradise, and His dead body was placed in a tomb.  On the third day He was resurrected.  His body was transformed, or replaced, by a new Resurrection body.  The Resurrection body was Spiritual like Angels, but it could also materialize into flesh and bones like a man. 

The date of Easter in 2025 is very late, with April 25 being the last possible date.  This year Easter falls on the same day in the Julian and Gregorian calendars.  The Russian Orthodox Church uses the Julian calendar, and Ukraine and western churches use the Gregorian calendar.  There were no dates of April 20, Day 120 for Easter in the 20th century and only two dates in the 21st century - in 2014 and 2025. 

The word Easter doesn't even appear in the Bible.  There is no requirement in Church Age doctrine to even celebrate Easter.  However, the Easter tradition was well-established in the early Church by the middle of the second century.  Easter is like Christmas.  It's here to stay.  You can't get Christians to come to Church on Christmas, and you can't keep them away on Easter.  The nod-to-God crowd attend Church once a year, and that is on Easter Sunday.  What can a pastor teach?  They don't even know how to Rebound?  Resurrection is far beyond their vocabulary.

In spite of all this Easter is a part of our culture and Church tradition.  It separates Jewish unbelievers steeped in the tradition of the Passover from Christian believers in the Royal Family of God.  It is also a part of history.  Since God controls history, the question arises, "What does God have to say about Easter this year?"  Or "Is the Doctrine of the Resurrection of Christ being revealed in relation to Easter Sunday 2025?"

Several unusual historical events leading up to Easter this year certainly appear to be God speaking about the Easter story.  These evens include:
    1.  Apr. 13 Fire bombing of Pennsylvania Governor's residence around 2 AM after a Jewish celebration of the Passover feast.  The 2 guards were unable to catch the arsonist before he set two parts of the house on fire and left.
         The 2 guards of Christ's tomb were frightened and ran away.  Christ was crucified and resurrected during Passover week. 
    2.  The Palm Sunday massacre in which a bus of travelers was blown up in Sumy, Ukraine.
          Pilgrims traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover before the Resurrection.
    3.  Apr. 14  San Diego (Julian) earthquakes.
         An earthquake Angel rolled the stone away from the entrance to the tomb of Christ to reveal the empty tomb.
    4.  Apr. 17  Florida State University (FSU) mass shooting.
         The shooter was a Judas, an insider stepson of a deputy, a Republican, a member of the Sheriff's Office Youth Advisory Council, and a Christian who quoted scripture.
    5.  April 19, 20  Russian President Putin declared an Easter truce in the Ukraine War, and hundreds of prisoners were swapped.
         The Resurrection of Christ was the victory over death (1 Cor 15:26; 2Tim 1:10).  And the Old Testament saints in Paradise were released from confinement in the Earth and taken to Heaven.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

After Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world, He gave up His soul and spirit into the hands of the Father (Lk 23:46).  He expired; breathed His last.  The Archangel Michael took his spiritual soul and spiritual body to Paradise in the heart of the Earth.  The underworld is called Sheol in Hebrew and Hades in Greek. There were two compartments in Sheol, Hades and Paradise.  Dead unbelievers were in Hades, and dead believers (saints) were in Paradise, also called Abraham's Bosom (Lk 16:22).  The disembodied spirits in Sheol (believer and unbeliever) were also called ghosts.

The dead, human body of Jesus was taken down from the cross, prepared for burial, and placed in a tomb, carved in rock.  The entrance to the  tomb was sealed with a large, round stone, and a quality seal was placed over the crack to insure the integrity of the sealed tomb.  Two soldiers were assigned to guard the tomb.  However, on the third day an Elect Angel caused a severe earthquake and rolled away the stone that sealed the tomb.  The Angel's appearance was like lightning, and his clothing was white as snow (Matt 28:2, 3-4).  He terrified the guards, and they ran away.
 
On Sunday of the third day, Mary Magdalene along with other women came to the tomb before dawn with spices.  They found the stone door of the tomb open.  The burial shroud of Jesus was neatly folded, but His body was gone.  The Angels, dressed in white, sat at the place of the head and feet.  One of the Angels told the women that Jesus was not there, but He was risen; and they should go to Galilee to see Him (at the previously designated mountain).

The women ran back and told the disciples what had happened, and Peter and John ran to the tomb.  Peter entered the tomb and saw the linen wrapping (Jn 20:6-7).  The other disciples then came and looked in the tomb.  After they left, Marry stayed behind, weeping.  Jesus in Resurrection body spoke to Mary and asked her why she was weeping.  She didn't see Him and didn't recognize His voice until He called her b name, "Mary" (Jn 20:16).  She called Him Rabboni, meaning Teacher.  Then she fell down before Him and clung to His feet.  The Lord asked her to stop because He had not yet ascended to the Father (Jn 20:17).

The Lord Jesus Christ first appeared to Mary in His new Resurrection body.  He told her to stop clinging to Him because He had not yet ascended to the Father, who was in Heaven on the Throne of God.  Mary was holding Him back from proceeding to the Father in Heaven.  The Lord Jesus Christ was on Earth.  He had just arisen from Sheol, where He announced that He had finished paying for the sins of the world as promised in the Adamic Covenant.  After the Lord left Mary, He escorted the saints in Sheol to Heaven in a Triumphal Procession (Eph 4:8, 9, 10). 

Later on Sunday of the Resurrection the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to two men who left Jerusalem and were going to Emmaus (Lk 24:13-35).  They didn't know it was the Lord until they invited Him to dinner, and He began breaking bread for them.  When they recognized Him, He vanished.  They returned to Jerusalem and told the disciples, who were gathered together except for Thomas.  As they were relating the events, Jesus suddenly appeared in their midst and said "Shalom," in Aramaic, which is translated from Greek as "Peace be with you" (Lk 24:36).  They were frightened and thought they were seeing a spirit (a ghost) (Lk 24:37).  He proved He wasn't a spirit by showing them His physical hands and feet (Lk 24:38, 39).  He appeared to His disciples two more times in Resurrection body.  He ate with them, cooked for them, and served them food.  He instituted with them the ritual of the Eucharist.    

Spiritual Meaning

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ changed the course of human history.  In His Resurrection Jesus Christ won the  victory over death.  Even though Satan sent Him to the cross and to death in His humanity, He arose with a new life.  His Resurrection body was like angels.  He was in the Spiritual World, but He could materialize and enter the Temporal World.  God the Father gave the Lord Jesus Christ a new title of royalty, "King of  kings and Lord of lords."  After the  Jews rejected Him, the Father called out a new Royal Family, the Church, for Christ.  He is the Head and High Priest of the Church.  He will rule the world as King over the kings of the Earth in the Millennium, and the Church will rule with Him Spiritually in Resurrection bodies.

The story of the Resurrection of Christ is documented in the four Gospels.  The Spiritual aspects of the Resurrection are awesome.  The Spiritual concepts are profound, and very few take the time to unravel the mystery doctrine.  For example:  Why was Mary the first to see the Resurrected Christ?  Why didn't she recognize His voice?  Why didn't she recognize Him?  Why did the men on the road to Emmaus not recognize Jesus?  Why did the disciples think Jesus was a ghost?

Now the celebrations of festivals and Holy days are not part of Church Age Doctrine.  The Passover Feast was fulfilled in the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The Jews who cling to the Passover celebration have rejected Jesus Christ.  The Resurrection of Jesus Christ occurred during Passover week, which was a Holy week under the Law.  This relates to the first incident in our list of events associated with Easter.

Case 1 Related to Palm Sunday:  At around 2 AM on April 13 the residence of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro was fire bombed after he had celebrated the Passover meal the night before.  The 2 guards were unable to catch  the arsonist before he set the house on fire and left.  He later turned himself in and indicated his motive was because the Governor was not supporting the Palestinians.  The Governor was upset, and rightly so, because such events are now commonplace.  This incident is the first case that relates to the Resurrection in that the 2 guards corresponded to the 2 guards that failed to protect the corpse of Jesus.

Case 2 Related to Palm Sunday:  Russia massacres civilians in Sumy, Ukraine and bombs a bus, killing people all around.  At least some of the people were out to celebrate Palm Sunday.  This relates to the Resurrection, which was during the Passover week with pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem for the festival.

Case 3:  Apr. 14 San Diego (Julian) earthquakes corresponding to the earthquake produced by the Angel who rolled the stone away from the tomb of Jesus.

StormsCase 4:  Apr. 17  Florida State University (FSU) mass shooting.  The shooter was a Judas, an insider stepson of a deputy, and a Christian.  He was also Satan.   He was previously treated for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which is an anxiety disorder caused by demon influence.  Like many other mental disorders it can be caused by a Divine Curse or Generational Curse like autism.

The FSU shooting was accompanied by violent tornadoes and hail in Nebraska and Iowa on April 17.  Tornadoes symbolize the breakdown of  Marriage Culture from the uncircumcised male, and hail is a sign of catastrophic Judgment produced by thunderheads.  Nebraska and Iowa correspond to the region of the Merarites, who were the metallurgists for the Tabernacle, corresponding to Fire Testing.  Tornadoes and hail are created under hot and cold conditions of the clouds.

The FSU shooting was also accompanied by a bus wreck (top picture) that killed a middle school 13-year old student in South Carolina.  The picture of a bus is in the Astrological Chart.

ElephantCase 5:  April 19, 20 Putin declared an Easter truce in the Ukraine War, and hundreds of prisoners were swapped.  Putin declared the truce, like the victor who won the war.  He didn't use a mediator.  This corresponds to the victory over death in the Resurrection of Christ (1 Cor 15:26; 2 Tim 1:10).  Swapping prisoners corresponds to taking those in Paradise to Heaven in the Triumphal Procession after the Resurrection.

The Putin Easter truce announcement was heralded by a large weather elephant over the US.  An elephant symbolizes Baal, the enemy of Israel, Marriage, and children, and corresponding to the Evil King in Russia.

FSU ShootingThe Chart at the time of the FSU shooting contains a narrow Mystic Rectangle, corresponding to a bus.  There was a bus wreck in South Carolina that killed a 13-year-old Middle School student, where 13 symbolizes the double blessing of Israel, and 13 is the number for Leon County, Florida where the shooting occurred.  After the FSU shooting a line of buses were sent to evacuate students from the Student Union area where the shooting occurred.

The Mystic Rectangle has a Plow running through it.  A Plow symbolizes intense suffering, like being plowed under.  The bus in South Carolina blew a front tire and overturned about 1:47 pm EDT (about 2 hours after the FSU shooting).

Gemini is on the Ascendant.  Gemini symbolizes the double blessing of Israel and corresponds to Israel and California.

Conclusion   

God creates human history; Satan rules the world; God gives life to man, and employs angels and demons to control man and drive the course of history according to God's Holy, wise, and eternal plan.  Man does not live to himself.  He is a subject of Satan's kingdom and a witness in Satan's Appeal Trial.  Everything that exists fits into God's Design.  Man is only a peace of the puzzle. 

God reveals some of His Creation to us, teaches us with Divine Discipline, and punishes us when we fail.  He blesses us and He curses, but we seldom know the reason why.  We see things passing and have glimpses of angels and demons, but we don't know them or their business.  We see through a glass darkly.  We live in a fish bowl and see passing shadows.  We are actors on the stage of life, but we don't write the script.

If God spoon feeds us, we will learn some things.  And if we stick with it, we may find enough pieces of the puzzle to see a picture or two.  God decides when and how to give us the pieces of the picture He decides to reveal. We are elated when it comes together, and discouraged when we fail.  Life doesn't revolve around us, but we are a part of Creation and have the opportunity to grasp some of the relationships as we see through the glass darkly.

So we have seen some of the story of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in this Easter week.  It is obvious that the events fit together into a much bigger picture.  They are not isolated events.  There was certainly much to learn this Easter, but it won't come again soon.  This was April 20, 2025, Day 120, where the numbers mean:  4th month for weakness; 20th for going out and coming in like pilgrims or warriors; 2025 for Sovereignty; 120 for authority.  So it is authority of a warrior from the Sovereignty of God.  God created it.  His Angels and demons made it happen.  And we were recipients of blessing and cursing by Grace from the Love of God.
