The Red Planet

Red Planet, Moons, Cross, NASA JPL
The Red Planet symbolizes the blood of Christ, which represents His substitutionary Spiritual death for the sins of the world on the Cross.  The planet is alive with dynamic events that demonstrate the significance of the witness of the blood of Christ in the history of Creation and the Appeal Trial of Satan.  The witness of Elect Angels on the planet is evident in the daily and seasonal changes in the weather and volcanoes.

Red Planet Symbolism

Red Planet Color, Gusev Crater, NASA JPL, Spirit RoverThe Red Planet is a symbol of the blood of Christ, which represents the substitutionary Spiritual death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.  The blood of animal sacrifices foreshadowed the Cross (Hebrews 9:12-14).  The color of the Red Planet is a reminder of blood of Christ, which is the single most important event in history after the re-Creation during the Appeal Trial of Satan.  The Red Planet is a reminder to man and angels of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind.

The name, Mars, came from Satan.  It refers to Satan as the god of war, who was defeated when Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the world on the Cross.  The name, Mars, is blasphemy.  The Romans, who were hoodwinked by the devil, named the planet; and scientists, who are no smarter, have continued the deception.  This is just another lie of Satan, the master of deceit, in an attempt to hide the truth of the Cross.
Red Planet Sides, NASA STScI-PRC2003-22a
The Red Planet has two sides, front and back.  The two sides represent the front and back of Jesus Christ on the Cross.  The front represents acceptance and the back represents rejection.  Salvation is a matter of personal choice.  The planet is pock marked with craters and volcanoes, which represent wounds of the Lord Jesus Christ who was battered, bruised, punctured with nails and thorns, and stabbed with a spear.

But He was pierced by means of our transgressions.
He was crushed by our iniquities.
The punishment that brought peace (reconciliation) was upon Him..
By His stripes (scourging) we are drawn together with Him. (Isaiah 53:5)
During the trials before His Crucifixion, the Lord Jesus Christ was punched, beaten with rods, and scourged.  His face was unrecognizable, which corresponds to the formless appearance of the Red Planet without visible continents.
Then they spat in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others slapped Him, (Matthew 26:67, NAS)
After Judas Iscariot betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ and saw that He had been condemned to death, he felt remorse and returned the money the Jewish priests had given him for betraying the Lord.  The Jews took the money and bought a Potter's Field for burying strangers.  The field was called the Field of Blood because it was the price of blood (Matthew 27:3-10).  The color of the Red Planet is a reminder of the Field of Blood.

The Red Planet is the fourth terrestrial planet, where 4 represents the weakness of Earth in relation to the control of Heaven, per the meaning of the year, 2004, when NASA's Spirit Rover landed on the Red Planet in Gusev Crater.  There is land and an atmosphere, but no ocean or water on the Red Planet.  This is because water and oceans represent political relationships, such as love.  The death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross was not about love.  God the Father rejected Jesus Christ on the Cross.  God the Holy Spirit sustained the humanity of Christ.  But it was the Lord Jesus Christ alone who had to bear the Judgment of the Father and the wrath from the Holy Spirit for the sins of the world.  The land and the rock represent the body of Christ, and the atmosphere represents the Holy Spirit.

The Red Planet is not a passive monument, but an active reminder, which is maintained by the Elect Angels under the Authority of the Lord of Heaven.  The angels on the Red Planet control the weather with mighty storms and dust vortexes.  They also control volcanoes and earthquakes.

The Red Planet is more of a testimony to angels than to man.  It is very inhospitable.  It resembles a barren desert without a shred of life.  The soil is salty.  The temperature is between -87 to -5 °C (-125 to 23 °F).  The polar ice caps are made of dry ice (carbon dioxide).  The wind is powerful.  And the dust covers all.  All of the daily events on the Red Planet are part of the daily history of Creation and the Appeal Trial of Satan.  As events of human history occur daily on Earth, the corresponding relationships to the blood of Christ are being demonstrated on the Red Planet for the angels to observe.  Similar events are occurring in all the other heavenly bodies in the Universe.

The Rock of AgesRed Planet Rock, NASA Opportunity, 1-25-04

The surface of the Red Planet is covered with very fine dust and rocks of all sizes.  The Lord Jesus Christ is known as the Rock (Deuteronomy 32:4, 15, 30-31; Psalm 18:2; Isaiah 26:4).  The large rocks represent the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is the stone, which the builders rejected.
But He looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written,
‘The stone which the builders rejected,
This became the chief corner stone’? (Luke 20:17, NAS)
The smaller rocks represent believers, and the dust represents the unbeliever.
“Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.” (Luke 20:18, NAS)

Volcanoes

Red Planet, Olympus Mons Volcano, NASA JPLThe active volcanoes on the Red Planet represent Fire Testing.  They do not represent the female on the Red Planet.  The volcanoes are made by Elect Angels.  Along with the volcanoes come earthquakes, which are also under the control of Elect Angels.  These angels are dynamically representing the cursing of the humanity of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

The volcanoes cause mountains to rise and fall, and they hurl rocks of all sizes onto the surrounding countryside.

Nahum 1:5-6, NAS
5 Mountains quake because of Him,
And the hills dissolve;
Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence,
The world and all the inhabitants in it.
6 Who can stand before His indignation?
Who can endure the burning of His anger?
His wrath is poured out like fire,
And the rocks are broken up by Him.
Earthquakes and volcanoes on the Red Planet break up the rocks to symbolize what happened during the earthquake that occurred after the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross.
Matthew 27:51, 54, NAS
51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth shook; and the rocks were split, 54 Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Dust Vortex, NASAThe tornado angels on the Red Planet regularly create dust vortexes, which are called by scientists, dust devils.  Since they are created by the Elect Angels, they should not be called devils.  Meteorologists don't classify them as tornadoes since they don't occur in clouds.  They are fair-weather tornadoes that are only visible because they pick up dust.  The dust vortexes pick up the fine layer of dust from the ground and leave streaks, which represent the whip marks of the cat of nine tails with which the Lord Jesus Christ was scourged (John 19:1).  In scourging, after the whip lashes pealed the skin off the back, salt was rubbed into the raw, quivering flesh.
He Himself carried our sins in His own body on the cross that we might die to sin and live to Righteousness; for by His wounds we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Nail Scar

Nail ScarA circular feature in the Athabasca region of the Red Planet is nearly 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) wide.  It is composed of lava flows, but the circular shape indicates that it symbolizes the nail scar in the hand or spear scar in the side of Christ (Jn 19:34; 20:20, 25, 27).

The Blood

Red Planet, Air Bag marks, NASA JPLThe blood of animals that were sacrificed was poured out on the ground and covered over with a layer of dirt.  After the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross, a Roman soldier pierced his side with a spear and out came blood clots and water (serum).  The soil on the Red Planet is mixed with salt in a way that resembles a cake of blood.  After the Spirit Rover's air bag was dragged across the soil, a patch of ground looked like a cake of blood (reference photo).  The top of the ground had been covered with a fine layer of dust, which was removed when the air bag was dragged across it.  Note also the rocks pressed into the soil from the weight of the air bag in the lower right part of the photo.

MoonsRed Planet, Moons, Cross, NASA JPL

Links:  | Moons |
The Red Planet has two moons, which are among the smallest in the Solar System.  One moon orbits the planet 3 times a day, and the other orbits once every 30 hours.  The number, 3, stands for the Justice of the Holy Spirit, which corresponds to the Church.  The number, 30, stands for a priest, which corresponds to a Levitical priest in Israel.  The two moons, therefore, stand for the New Testament Church and the Old Testament Congregation.  These two groups are also symbolized by the two thieves who were crucified with Jesus Christ.  One thief became a believer and went to Paradise, the place of departed Old Testament saints, while the other thief rejected Jesus Christ and went to Hell.  He symbolized the Jews who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:11), while the one who went to Paradise foreshadowed those who would believe in Christ in the upcoming Church.

Tabernacle SymbolismRed Planet Ark

The Red Planet symbolizes Christ our sacrifice as portrayed by the Brazen Altar of the Tabernacle.  However, the blood of Christ is also identified with the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant.  And the two moons of the Red Planet correspond to the witness of the two cherubim on the Mercy Seat.  The Red Planet with its moons is the witness in the sky of the Mercy Seat of the Tabernacle on Earth.

Blood of Christ

The blood of Christ was foreshadowed by the sacrifices of animals (Hebrews 9:12-14).  The blood of the animal represented the price of redemption.  Since sin condemned mankind to death, the death of the animal symbolically satisfied the demands of the perfect Justice of God.  The animal symbolically died on behalf of the man.  However, this was only symbolic.  The debt of sin still existed.  A Savior was promised to take away the sins of the world.

The Lord Jesus Christ became the Savior who went to the Cross and paid for the sins of the world (1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 2:2).  The substitutionary Spiritual death of the Jesus Christ on the Cross satisfied the perfect Justice of God on behalf of all mankind.  God accepted the payment of the Lord Jesus Christ for the sins of all mankind.  Just as the animal had to die to pay for the life of a man, Jesus Christ had to die Spiritually to pay for the lives of all mankind.

The animal was sacrificed by bleeding it to death.  The blood from the animal represented the death of the animal, since the soul of the animal is in the blood.  The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, however, was Spiritual - not physical.  The blood of the animal represented the blood of Christ, but the blood of Christ was a metaphor for his Spiritual death on behalf of all mankind.  The blood of the animal was a symbol for the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ did not bleed to death on the Cross.  He was not slaughtered as an animal.  The soul of the human is not in the blood.  Jesus Christ died Spiritually as a substitute for all mankind while he suffered the Judgment of God for the sins of the world.

After He had finished bearing the sins of the world the Lord Jesus Christ was still physically alive.  He had not bled to death.  He bowed his head forward, and dismissed his human spirit.  Then he expired, breathed his last, and died physically.  He died physically after He had finished bearing the sins of the world.  After He was dead a Roman soldier pierced his heart with a spear and out came "blood and water" (John 19:34).  The blood quickly clots and separates from the serum after death.  The only place to get blood from a dead person is in the heart.  The blood and water that came from the body of Jesus Christ was very likely clotted blood and serum, which indicated that He was already dead.

Just as the blood and the water was a sign of the death of the humanity of Jesus Christ, the Red Planet lives as a testimony of Cross when the sins of the world were judged and the door of Salvation opened for all mankind.  With sins judged, there is nothing to prevent a person from being saved other than his own negative volition.  Eternal Life is available for all who will accept it through faith in Jesus Christ.  A decision to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ provides salvation to everyone who wants it.
