Meaning of 2003 - Justice of Holy Spirit

The Year 2003

January 1 (Day 1, Unity):   The meaning of 2003 is the Justice of the Holy Spirit.  The number, 3, stands for the Trinity or the Justice of the Holy Spirit.  The Justice is that of God the Holy Spirit since it is the third year of a sequence that began with 2001, 2002 and continues with 2003.  The numbers refer to the work of the members of the Godhead apart from the efforts of mankind.  The numbers, 1, 2, and 3, are associated with the first, second, and third members of the Godhead.  One is associated with God the Father; 2 with the work of God the Son; and 3 with the Justice of the Holy Spirit.

All of Grace - Freely Given Without Human Help

When Zerubbabel was rebuilding the Temple after the return from Babylonian captivity, Zechariah saw a vision (Zechariah 4:11-5).  He saw a golden lampstand with a golden bowl above it from which pipes ran to the bowls of the seven olive oil lamps on the lampstand.  There were two olive trees, one on the right and the other on the left.  The implication was that the olive trees produced olive oil, which flowed into the bowl, and pipes from the bowl supplied oil to the lamps.  The symbols here refer to the Heavenly Control Room.  Zechariah understood the meaning of the golden lampstand, but the other symbols in the picture baffled him.  An angel gave him an explanation:
Then he answered and said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of the Armies. (Zechariah 4:6)
Zerubbabel was being hindered in many ways from completing the Temple.  A mountain of problems hindered him for years.  The LORD's answer to Zechariah was that the Temple would be completed "not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit."  This was the word of the Lord Jesus Christ.  "Word" is dabar in the Hebrew, which means specification.  This was in the Sovereign Design of God, and the Holy Spirit would accomplish the Sovereign Design.  Zerubbabel thought he was building the Temple of stone, but God the Holy Spirit was actually just using him to implement divine design.  What the Lord commanded per the Sovereign Design would be implemented by the Holy Spirit.
‘What are you, O great mountain before Zerubbabel?  Into a plain!  And he will bring out the top-stone amid shouts of, Grace, grace to it!’ ” (Zechariah 4:7)
The Justice of God the Holy Spirit would reduce the mountain of problems that hindered the completion of the Temple into a plain.  And Zerubbabel would bring out the top-stone and complete the Temple amid shouts of "grace" from the people.  It happened.  The Temple was completed in spite of all the bickering and belly-aching of the worldly citizens of Judah.

Impartial Justice

The Justice of the Holy Spirit is without partiality.
For you see, there is no partiality with God. (Romans 2:11)
When God the Holy Spirit judges an organization, the believers will suffer in the organization along with the unbelievers.  Doctrinal believers will suffer along with apostates.  The Justice of God will judge, and woe to those who are in the way!

Justice of the Z-Axis

The believer's relationship to the Godhead is defined by the Space-Time Coordinate System (reference Marriage Grace), where the three axes represent Faith, Hope, and Love.  The Hope axis is the Z-axis, which represents the relationship with the Justice of God.  God's perfect Justice is implemented by the Holy Spirit.  What the Righteousness of God (X-axis) demands, the Justice of God (Z-axis) judges, but always in Love and Grace (Y-axis).  The three axes are defined in Psalm 89:14.
Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Gracious Love and doctrine (truth) are before Your presence. (Psalm 89:14)
The believer's fellowship with God is through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:18).  The Filling of the Holy Spirit completes the connection to God the Father, but sin breaks the connection.  Believers who are out of fellowship will be punished by the Holy Spirit.  The Z-axis is associated with the Justice administered by the Holy Spirit.  It points up toward the air, which is analogous to the Holy Spirit (John 3:8).

Justice in Suffering

The Justice of the Holy Spirit is also represented in the three Mary's who witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Therefore the soldiers did these things. But there were standing by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. (John 19:25, NAS)
The three Mary's symbolize three different types of women.  They are listed in terms of protocol with the elder and most honorable listed first.  The types are:
  1. The mother (and widow) - Mary
  2. The married woman - Mary Clopas
  3. The single woman - Mary Magdalene
Mary the mother of Jesus was a woman of humility, respect, and honor.  She was also graced out and the most famous woman who ever lived.  Satan has tried to distort this in religion.  Mary Clopas was married to Clopas, about whom nothing is known in scripture.  Mary Clopas represents a married woman.  Mary Magdalene was a single woman and the best student that Jesus had.  She surpassed all the disciples in metabolizing Bible Doctrine.  She loved the Word.  However, Mary Magdalene was formerly a promiscuous woman, who was possessed of 7 demons before she was saved.

The three Mary's at the cross represent the Justice of the Holy Spirit, who judged Jesus Christ for the sins of the world.  The suffering of the cross was the most intense that every happened to a human being in history.  The three Mary's, who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, were also in suffering.  They were experiencing the Justice of the Holy Spirit in their own suffering at the loss of their loved one.  Therefore, another characteristic of the number, 3, is that the Justice of the Holy Spirit often includes suffering.

Verification on Stage of Life

Another aspect of the Justice of the Holy Spirit involves verification testing on the Stage of Life as a part of the Metabolization process.  The Holy Spirit demonstrates Bible Doctrine taught by the pastor-teacher on the Stage of Life so the believer can be tested and complete the verification process.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5
4 Both my doctrine and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
When the pastor-teacher teaches Bible Doctrine, the Holy Spirit demonstrates it on the Stage of Life in order to test the believer.  The believer must recognize the test and apply doctrine to complete the verification process.  Spiritual growth is, therefore, the production of the Holy Spirit.  The congregation can only learn what the Holy Spirit permits.

The Trinity

The Trinity refers to the three members of the Godhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are co-equal in essence and co-eternal.  The Brazen Altar in the Tabernacle was 3 cubits high (Exodus 27:1), where three stands for the Trinity (Hebrews 9:14).  The Father and the Holy Spirit took part in the crucifixion, although they punished the Son for the sins of the world.  Whereas, there are only two items in the Outer Court of the Tabernacle, the Apostle John noted that there was a third.  It was air, the symbol of the Holy Spirit.
This is the one who came by means of the water and the blood, Jesus Christ: not in water only, but in water and in blood. (1 John 5:6)
The water corresponds to the Laver (Exodus 30:18), which represents Christ, our sanctification (1 Corinthians 6:11).  It refers to Positional Sanctification, which refers to purification from sins and consecration to God at Salvation on the basis of the Redemption of Jesus Christ.  Sanctification means to be set apart.  That's why there were only two items in the Outer Court, because two represents division.  The believer who is sanctified is consecrated to God, whereas, all unbelievers are separated from God (Acts 26:18).  The blood represents Redemption, which is the substitutionary spiritual death of Christ on the cross in payment for the sins of the world (Romans 5:8; Hebrews 9:7-14; 10:10, 14-18).

After Jesus Christ had finished bearing the sins of the world, He dismissed His spirit and died physically.  Later a Roman solder thrust a spear into his heart, and out came blood clots and serum.

but one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water. (John 19:34, NAS)
Blood clots quickly in a dead person, and the only place to get blood is from the heart.  By the time the soldier pierced the side of Jesus Christ, the blood had already clotted and the serum (water) had separated.  Blood and water came from the body of Jesus Christ.  The blood and water were symbols of Redemption related to the Brazen Altar and Sanctification related to the Laver.  John said water and blood, as opposed to blood and water, to emphasize the beginning and end of a sequence.  The Old Testament believer looked forward to the cross, and in the Tabernacle the Brazen Altar came before the Laver.  However, the Church Age believer looks back to the cross, where the last thing that happened was Sanctification, and the previous was Redemption.
And the Spirit is bearing witness because the Spirit is truth. (1 John 5:7)
John also noticed that the Brazen Altar was 3 cubits high, and the Holy Spirit was in the Outer Court.  The Holy Spirit always bears witness of the truth on the Stage of Life, while the Cosmic System bears witness of lies.  The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (John 14:17; 15:26; 16:13; 1 John 4:6; 5:7-8).  The Holy Spirit was the third thing that John mentioned.
For there are three that are bearing witness:  the Spirit, the water, and the blood.  Therefore, these three are in union. (1 John 5:8)
Trinity"Union" is the Greek ei|" (heis), which can also mean one, unity, or even harmony, but not here.  Some of the best and brightest Greek scholars cannot translate this simple verse.  And the meaning cannot be understood if the exegesis is wrong.  John just explained that the Spirit (3), the water (2), and the blood (1) are a unit.  He used a relationship called union (U) in Modern Algebra to explain the Trinity.  The Trinity is the union of the (Spirit, water, and blood).  The Trinity is the Spirit U water U blood.  The unit of the Trinity is like a molecule, which is a compound of elements that differs from a collection, or mixture, of elements.

The symbol of the Trinity is an equilateral triangle.  The fingers of the hand also represent the Trinity, since they are composed of three joints with three phalanges.  The third day of re-creation also symbolized the Trinity when the land appeared to join the water and the Spirit (Genesis 1:9-13).  Seed-bearing plants were also made.  Trees have three major parts:  the trunk, branches, and leaves.  Fruit production occurs in buds near the leaves, which is analogous to the production of the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

The year, 2003, represents the Trinity and the Justice of the Holy Spirit.  The number, 3, in the context of the sequence of years, 2001, 2002, and 2003, refers to the third member of the Godhead, God the Holy Spirit.  The perfect Justice of God is impartial.  Therefore, the Justice of the Holy Spirit is more often associated with suffering than blessing.  The believer should learn the meaning of this number in the Suffering stage that lies between the Spiritual Warfare stage and Spiritual Maturity.  A recent example of the meaning of the number, 3, was the killing of the 3 Southern Baptist hospital workers in Yemen by the Islamic terrorist on December 30, 2002.

The number, 3, in 2003 is not the same as three things in parallel, which represent Ecumenical, Political, and Cosmic Babylon.  Although the Holy Spirit separates out these things, they are in the Cosmic System and represent counterattacks to divine design.  The number, 3, in 2003 is associated with kingdom of God, or divine dynasphere, and not the Cosmic System.

The year, 2003, will be a demonstration of the Justice of the Holy Spirit.  It will be a time of heightened Spirituality, which the world will not see because the Spirit is invisible.  The book of Romans will be a mainstay for believers.  And Christians will be expected to obey the Holy Spirit.  For those who walk by the Spirit, the truth will be revealed daily on the Stage of Life.

For those who have been called to live in this period of human history, it is a rare opportunity to utilize Bible Doctrine.  The single digit numbers will come true each year.  Each year bears special significance in the Spiritual Life and Spiritual Warfare.

  1. 2001 - the unity of God
  2. 2002 - divine division
  3. 2003 - the Justice of the Holy Spirit
  4. 2004 - weakness
  5. 2005 - grace or a giant
  6. 2006 - man
  7. 2007 - categorical punishment
  8. 2008 - new birth
  9. 2009 - Plagues of Egypt
  10. 2010 - Laws of Establishment
This sequence means that God is evangelizing the world and testing believers in the Spiritual Life.  The issue is not worldly success or prosperity.  It is response to the Love of God.  Those who defy God will be judged, and those who obey him will be tested and promoted on the battlefield.

In 2001, the color for unity was white.  In 2002, the color for God's separation was orange.  In 2003, the color for the Justice of God the Holy Spirit is violet.
