Barbaro won the Kentucky Derby on May 6, 2006 by 6.5 lengths, the widest margin since Assault in 1946. He became only the sixth undefeated winner in Derby history. His last quarter mile was the fastest since Secretariat in 1973. But Barbaro broke his leg in the Preakness in Baltimore on May 20, 2006 only a few hundred yards out of the starting gate in front of the Grand Stand with a record crowd. The tragedy captured everyone's attention, and the crowd was distracted from watching the race. The injured horse captured the hearts of people everywhere, even those who weren't racing fans. Winning the Kentucky Derby on May 6, 2006, and ending his racing career in the Preakness from Post Position 6 on May 20, 2006, the horse became a symbol of the year, 2006, for the weakness of man stripped of power at the footstool of the conqueror. He rose to glory in the Derby, only to fall in agony on the day of the birth of the new government of Iraq.
The formation of the new government in Iraq on May 20, 2006 sounded the death knell for former dictator, Saddam Hussein, who was hanged on December 30, 2006 at age 69, for running the course. Barbaro ran the course, the race track, as a star. He symbolized the number, 6, in 2006. A horse symbolizes war and a male phallic reversionist. So, Barbaro was a symbol of Saddam Hussein and the war that toppled him. Barbaro broke his leg in the 131st Preakness, where 31 is the number for a dictator. And after the death of Saddam, Barbaro's condition soon deteriorated.
Euthanized
Star racehorse, Barbaro, was euthanized on January 29, 2007, Day, for victory over edom. After the previously shattered right rear leg had almost healed, and he appeared to be recovering from laminitis, he developed an abscess on his right rear foot last week. He underwent surgery on January 28 to insert two steel pins in a bone in hopes of alleviating the strain on the foot, but after his condition deteriorated, the decision was made to euthanize him.
There's
another side to the story of Barbaro. Even though he was a horse,
he was created for a purpose as revealed by his birth chart. He was
born the night of April 29, 2003. Since the exact time of birth is
not know, it is assumed to be 10 PM for the purpose of analyzing his Birth
Chart. It was Day 119, for the witness (11) of the federal judiciary
(19), which corresponds to the new government of Iraq. At the time
of his birth, all the planets were on one side of the chart except for
the Last Adam, which was in the sign of Scorpius, the scorpion and symbol
of conflict with the deadly enemy. This is called a Bucket.
It means that the Focus is toward the lone planet opposite all the others,
where the bail of a bucket would be. The Focus was the Last Adam,
the planet that represents the humanity of Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union,
who was created a man in order to die for the sins of the world.
God cannot die; so He had to become a man to die. Six is the number
for man, who was created on the sixth day.
The Last Adam in Scorpius symbolizes the victim of Satan, who was a murderer from the beginning. Barbaro was very hyper and clearly spooked as he entered the starting gate for the Preakness. He broke through the starting gate prematurely, was examined by veterinarians, and returned to the gate. It appeared that the horse was spooked by a demon. Shortly after the race began, Barbaro broke his leg.
The Chart configuration could also be taken to be a Locomotive, which symbolizes reaching out for the strategic objective, like the finish line. In the case of a Locomotive, the Focus of the Bucket would be the Pivot of the Locomotive. The whole chart would turn on the Pivot, which would be the most important planet in the Chart.
There was also a Plow in the Chart, which is a sign of intense suffering, like being plowed under. The Plow was formed from the Red Planet in Capricornus, for suffering in the flesh, in opposition to the Almighty God in Cancer, for winnings. Barbaro won over $2 million. The point of the Plow was the Sun in Aries, for a leader's glory.
The Moon, which was near New, was in Pisces, for a crowd of supporters. The Bucket in Barbaro's Birth Chart symbolized the Grand Stand with all eyes on him. When he was injured, he captured the hearts of millions, even those who were not race fans.
Plow
The Plow is formed from the Red Planet in opposition to the Almighty God Planet connected at a right angle to the Sun. This configuration is like a plow or a spear, which symbolizes an attempt to plow a person under or stab him with a spear. In this case the conflict from the Red Planet and the Almighty God planet in opposition are resolved by the suffering aimed at the Sun. This is precisely the scenario of the Cross. Jesus Christ was Judged on the Cross for the sins of the world as symbolized by the Red Planet, which represents the blood of Christ. After He finished bearing the sins of the world, Jesus Christ died physically. Then a Roman soldier pierced his side with a spear and out came blood clots and serum because He was already dead. The great red spot on the Almighty God planet (Jupiter) symbolizes the scar where the Roman spear pierced His side. However, while He was dying on the Cross, the Sun was darkened due to an eclipse. The darkness represented the spiritual darkness associated with the spiritual death of Jesus Christ as He died as a substitute for all mankind. Thus, the Sun at a right angle to the other two planets on Barbaro's chart symbolizes the eclipse that coincided with the Judgment of the Cross. Barbaro's jockey Edgar Prado was wearing a jersey with a cross in the Preakness.
A Plow, or spear, in anyone's birth chart is a sign of suffering. The plow facing the Sun in Barbaro's chart means the glory has departed, which corresponds to the Hebrew, Ichabod (1 Sa 4:21). Of course, Barbaro had to have glory before he could lose it. Like Ichabod, Barbaro was born to lose his glory so that he could symbolize the Judgment of Jesus Christ on the Cross and the judgment of Saddam Hussein in 2006. And there is another meaning: "God makes was against the arrogant, but He gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6).
The Red Planet in Capricornus symbolizes suffering in the flesh or redeemed by blood. On the Day of Atonement, which foreshadowed the Cross, a bull, a goat, and two rams were sacrificed. The Sun is in Aires, the ram, as the Birth Sign of Barbaro. On the Day of Atonement, the blood of a goat was sprinkled once on the Mercy Seat and 7 times in front of it to represent unlimited atonement. This corresponds to the meaning of the year, 2007. On the Day of Atonement, the rams were offered as burnt offerings for the priests and the congregation of Israel.

The Mediator in Aquarius symbolizes a mount, and Aquarius corresponds to Florida, where Barbaro was broken and rose to early acclaim. The Morning Star in Pisces symbolizes the leader of the herd. Pisces corresponds to Kentucky, where Barbaro was only the sixth undefeated Derby winner. The Savior in Aries symbolizes a deliverer. And the Almighty God in Gemini symbolizes a partnership, like the jockey and horse.
Barbaro's Birth Chart reveals God's purpose in his creation. It shows that God has a plan even for animals. He was born on April 29, 2003, and he died on January 29, 2007, where 29 is for victory over Edom. The Edomites were the descendants of Esau, who was one of the first to terrorize the Jews. In Barbaro's Birth Chart was the story of the focus of human history, the birth and death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross as a substitute for all mankind. The Light of the world was darkened when Christ was Judged for the sins of the world, as represented by the Red Planet. By application, the Red Planet in Capricornus symbolizes suffering in the flesh. For Barbaro this had to be balanced against the Almighty God in Cancer, for winnings. The opposition was directed into the Sun in Aries, for a leader's glory. The Plow directed at the Sun corresponds to intense suffering that threatened Barbaro's life.
The suffering and death of the Lord Jesus Christ made it possible for us to understand the suffering and death of Barbaro, whose life and death symbolized the rise and fall of Saddam Hussein. Because of the work of Christ, the gift of Salvation is free. It is received through an act of faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior, who made it possible.
