Definition
The frog demon will possess the Antichrist and False
Prophet
in the Tribulation (ref. Rev.
16:13-14). The frog demon is a kosmokrator,
world
ruler of darkness (Eph 6:12). Such demons are special envoys
to world
rulers and politicians. The second
plague of Egypt was frogs, whose croaking symbolized
politicians.
Characteristics
The frog demon comes in quietly without a
herald. He
is a stealth creature who does nothing to signal his
presence. He
immediately begins to hypnotize or cast a spell upon his victim by
taking
over the subconscious. He proceeds to enslave his victim,
suck up
his energy, and fill him with darkness. He is detectable
because
he makes the person tired. If the person sits down and
closes his
eyes to rest, the demon will put him to sleep, but the sleep will
be awful.
The demon drains a person's energy, both mental and physical.
Those who are enslaved to the demon may grow fat
with
a pop belly like a toad. They don't have the energy to
exercise and
they tire easily. Believers and unbelievers can be
enslaved to the
demon.
Solution
The solution to the frog demon is quite
simple. Once
he is recognized, resist him firmly, and he will leave (Jas 4:7; 1
Pet
5:8-9). He will be back, however, at some later time when he
is least
expected. When the tired feeling comes, don't rest.
Actively
resist the demon instead.
