The crane operator and another worker were killed and the 23-story apartment building across the street was damaged. The crane was being used in the construction of a 32-story building called the Azure at 333 East 91 St. and First Ave. Inspectors had shut the crane down for unsafe operation on April 24, and resumption of work was approved yesterday. Workers said the crane's turntable popped off. The turntable enables the crane to rotate.
This is the third crane collapse correlated to NASA space activities. Two crane collapses were associated with NASA's previous STS-123 mission, and today's collapse came during the middle of the Launch Countdown for STS-124, which is scheduled to launch tomorrow. A crane fell in Manhattan on March 15 during the installation of Dextre crane on the Space Station. During STS-123 return from the Space Station, a crane fell in Miami and killed 2 people.
The general configuration of the planets in the Star Chart is called a Locomotive, named for the imbalanced wheel of the old steam locomotive. The crane reportedly fell when the turntable popped off. A tropical storm symbolizes the rejection of the grace message of the pastor by the arrogant congregation, which is like a rebellious female who rejects the authority of her right man. Today's crane collapse was on Day 151, for arrogance. The Star Chart configuration was a Locomotive, with the pivot as the Last Adam planet in Sagittarius. There were two Plows in the Star Chart. A Plow symbolizes suffering, like being plowed under. The two Plows corresponded to the two buildings damaged by today's crane collapse.
