In high school Ivins was active in clubs, was on the track team, worked on the school yearbook and newspaper, and was in the choir and junior and senior plays. He graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in microbiology, including a BS in 1968, MS in 1971, and PhD in 1976.
Ivins was senior biodefense researcher at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) in Fort Detrick, Maryland. He became interested in anthrax in 1979 after an accidental release of anthrax from a military facility in the Soviet city of Sverdlovsk (now known as Yekaterinburg) killed 64 people. He was coinventor on two US patents for anthrax vaccines.
Ivins was a member of the Red Cross. He was a juggler and founder of the Frederick Jugglers. He played keyboards in a Celtic band, and composed and played songs for coworkers on special occasions.
2001 Anthrax Attacks
Beginning September 18, 2001, Day 261, letters containing epithets and anthrax were mailed to ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, the New York Post, the National Enquirer, and to US Senators Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy. Five people were killed and 17 infected. The epithets included: "Death to America, "Death to Israel," and "Allah is Great." Five letters were mailed from Trenton, New Jersey on September 18, and two more letters were mailed from Trenton (postmarked October 9) to Democratic Senators, Tom Daschle of South Dakota and Patrick Leahy of Vermont. All the letters were mailed from a mailbox at 10 Nassau Street, Princeton, New Jersey. The first fatality was Robert Stevens, 63, who died on October 5 after inhaling anthrax from the letter sent to American Media, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida.
Anthrax Investigation
Because of his knowledge, Bruce Ivins helped in the investigation of the 2001 anthrax attacks. Ivins, along with fellow workers, tested samples to distinguish real anthrax letters from hoaxes. Ivins also helped the FBI analyze the powder from the envelopes sent to one of the US senator's offices.
The FBI soon focused on Steven Hatfill as the suspect. However, the FBI failed to build a case against him, and he sued them in return and won. In 2005, the DNA signature of the anthrax in the mailings were linked to a flask, "RMR-1029," of Ames strain anthrax spores, "created and solely maintained by Dr. Ivins at USAMRIID."2 Four mutations in the genetic code of the anthrax in the mailings were traceable back to the flask.
In late 2006, Ivins became the prime suspect. With Hatfill out of the way, Ivins began to exhibit serious stress. Because of his behavior, he lost access to sensitive areas at work. He was treated for depression and had suicidal thoughts. On March 19, 2008, he was found unconscious in his home and taken to the hospital. On July 10, 2008, he lost his security clearance to Fort Detrick because of his deteriorating emotional condition.
In late July, Ivins was informed of his impending prosecution for the anthrax mailings. On July 27, 2008 at 1:00 AM, he was found unconscious on his bathroom floor from an overdose of tylenol. He died on July 29, 2008 after being unplugged from life support. On August 6, 2008, the federal prosecutor announced that Ivins was the "sole culprit" in the anthrax mailings.
Religion
After being brought up in the Presbyterian Church, Ivins converted to Roman Catholicism. He played the piano in his church. He held some strong religious convictions, which led him to write letters to the local paper. Investigators also suspected his views on abortion may have let to the anthrax laced letters sent to pro-choice Catholic senators Daschle and Leahy.

On September 18, 2001, Tropical Storm Gabrielle was off the East coast of New York in the shape of an eagle, which symbolizes a Throne Angel that judges the nation. Assuming that the Tropical Storm actually symbolized the Archangel Gabriel, what business would Gabriel, the King of the College of Heralds have following in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attack? The Tropical Storm formed in the vacuum off the coast of Florida after President Bush left on September 11. It crossed Florida and became a hurricane as it moved up the East coast off Washington, DC. Gabrielle appeared to glare at Washington, DC and New York. It came from Florida because the terrorists trained in Florida before attacking New York and Washington, DC. The connection to the Archangel Gabriel is that the Lord had ordered the terrorist attacks as a very high-level special punishment for rejecting the truth (Bible Doctrine).
The high-level punishment was that the September 11 attack was the first of the four horses of the Apocalypse, which would discipline the US in coming years. The September 11 attack of Osama bin Laden symbolized the White Horse, which corresponds to the attack of the Antichrist and war. This isn't the Tribulation, but bin Laden does have the sign of an antichrist in his Birth Chart.
The anthrax mailings must have served a similar purpose in the Angelic Conflict. Just as Gabriel showed up to reveal high-level punishment, the anthrax mailings were designed to terrorize. The anthrax mailings were a curse designed to create fear in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. The fear was soon directed at Saddam Hussein, even though he was not even involved. The fear of biological weapons of mass destruction led to the Iraq War. When the US Army went into Iraq, the soldiers were wearing rubber suits in the desert heat and special sensors were used to detect poisonous substances.
The second anthrax mailing on October 9, 2001, Day 282, targeted two US Senators, Daschle and Leahy, who were pro-life Catholics. The numbers, 10th month, for laws of establishment, and 9, for plagues, symbolize establishment judgment that falls like a plague. This is like the capture of a criminal, who knows when he is captured that he is doomed. This also corresponds to the Plagues of Egypt that symbolized the destruction of the world in the Armageddon War.
So, the September 11 terrorist attack was bad, and the anthrax scare was bad, but the judgment of the four horses of the Apocalypse that was coming would be much worse. The White Horse symbolizes an antichrist, which corresponds to Osama bin Laden, who attacked the US on September 11, 2001 and thus, started a holy war against the US. The war, which was called the War on Terror by the Bush Administration and others, was a world war of a different kind than the previous ones. It was a war of Islamic terrorists against Western Civilization. The aim of the Islamic terrorists was clearly to establish a world government of Islam. Satan was behind the war. His objective was the same as it will be in the Tribulation when he tries to conquer the world and establish a world government before Christ can return at the Second Advent to fulfill the unconditional covenants to Israel.

A Grand Cross always signifies intense suffering. Ivins instilled such fear in his own psychiatrist that she called him "homicidal, sociopathic with clear intentions,"3 and got a restraining order against him. In the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, the anthrax mailings terrorized the US and the world. They also fueled the speculation about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Ivins took his own life with an overdose of tylenol.
Boomerang
A Boomerang signifies a crisis in timing. It is the mark of a person who can recognized a crisis and take action at precisely the right time to deal with it. One evidence of the Boomerang was Ivins' skill as a juggler. The Boomerang pointed to the Moon n Sagittarius, which symbolizes an Army. The Boomerang resembles an hypodermic needle. Ivins developed anthrax vaccines for the Army. And immediately after September 11, 2001, he allegedly perpetrated the anthrax mailings, which further terrorized the nation and the world.
The timing window of the Boomerang began with the Mediator Planet in Taurus, which symbolizes a consultant or success through a mediator. Ivins was used by the FBI as a consultant. After the anthrax mailings, he performed analyses to identify real anthrax from the copycat hoaxes. The center of the timing window was the God of the Covenants Planet in Gemini, which symbolizes a warrant or other court document, such as a restraining order. When Ivins was told that he was going to be prosecuted, he recognized the critical time and committed suicide. The timing window ended with the Last Adam in Cancer, for scourging, which is intensified punishment.
Also in Cancer was the Last Adam, for suffering from a safety breach. The anthrax mailings were a safety breach that caused suffering and death. Also, Ivins complained for years about lax security where he worked. When he became emotionally unstable near the end, his security clearance was revoked, and he was barred from entering the Fort Detrick army base.
Trumpet
Ivins worked on his high school yearbook and for the school newspaper. He was an activist, who often expressed his strong opinions in newspaper editorials. He was also a musician who played keyboard and sang, as symbolized by the Savior Planet in Pisces. He even wrote music for special occasions to honor his fellow employees. Ivins was like a herald with a trumpet to get his message out. The anthrax mailings were a loud statement to terrorize the world. At the time of the first anthrax mailings, Tropical Storm Gabrielle off the US East coast symbolized the Archangel Gabriel, the King of the College of Heralds. Like the curse of bin Laden's attack on the World Trade Center, the anthrax attacks were allowed in the Plan of God to punish Client Nation USA and the Royal Priesthood of the Church in hopes that some might wake up.
Virgo
Two planets were in Virgo. The Almighty God Planet in Virgo symbolized power over peace. God holds the power of peace until He relinquishes it. The rider of the Red Horse of the Apocalypse will be given the power to take peace from the Earth. Taking peace from the Earth includes the suffering of civilians due to the breakdown of law and order. The anthrax mailings terrorized civilians and took peace from the Earth even though according to the historical Timeline, they were associated with the White Horse.
The Redeemer in Virgo symbolizes a widow's redeemer. It turned out that Ivins left his wife a widow and in need of a redeemer.
The Boomerang pointed at the Moon in Sagittarius corresponds to Ivins' work on a vaccine for anthrax for the army. And the Trumpet pointing to the Savior Planet in Pisces, does symbolize Ivins, the musician. The Grand Cross certainly symbolizes Ivins' psychiatric problems that included depression, homicidal, sociopathic, and suicidal tendencies that had been with him throughout his adult life. He also worked everyday with anthrax, which has the power of death. Yet, because he lacked the signs normally associated with criminality in his Chart, such as those of a thief or murderer, many people cannot believe that he could be capable of such evil.
The anthrax attacks followed the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Just as the September 11th attacks brought conflict from abroad, the anthrax attacks raised fears from within as "the conflicts from without and fears from within" that Paul faced in Macedonia (2 Corinthians 7:5). The anthrax attacks in God's Plan were designed to further terrorize because the judgment of the Four Horses of the Apocalypse had arrived. Even though it wasn't the Tribulation, the four horses were high-level curses to wake up the Church and unbelievers before some cataclysmic event like the Baptism of Fire or end of the world. The reason for such a statement is that the last horse would be the Pale Horse of Death, which symbolizes final doom, or doomsday.
