Walt's family moved to a farm in Marceline, Missouri in 1906, when he was four. There Walt began drawing pictures of one of their neighbor's horses. Four years later in 1911. the family moved to Kansas City, where Walt attended grammar school and met Walter Pfeiffer, who introduced him to vaudeville and motion pictures. In 1917, the family moved back to Chicago, where Walt attended McKinley High School and took night courses at the Chicago Art Institute. Walt became the cartoonist for the school newspaper. He dropped out of high school at the age of sixteen to join the Army but was rejected for being underage. So he joined The Red Cross and spent a year in France in World War I, where he drove an ambulance.
After returning from the war, in 1919 Walt got a temporary job at the Pesmen-Rubin Art Studio with the help of his brother Roy. There he met a cartoonist named Ubbe Iwerks, who worked with him over the years. Later, Walt opened a cartoon automation business in Kansas City. Disney's cartoons became popular in the area. However, Walt was not a good business manager, and the business went bankrupt.
Walt and his brother Roy then moved to Hollywood, California and founded the Disney Brothers' Studio for making cartoons. In 1925, Disney hired Lillian Bounds as an artist to ink and paint celluloid. He married her later that year. Disney became a success with the Alice Comedies and later Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. However, in February 1928, Disney suffered what amounted to a hostile takeover when Charles B. Mintz took Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and hired away most of Disney's animation staff. Disney needed a new character, so he invented Mickey Mouse. The idea came from a pet mouse he had in Kansas City. He originally called the character, Mortimer, but his wife thought that too formal and named him Mickey. Walt Disney was the voice behind Mickey Mouse until 1946. By 1932, Mickey Mouse was very popular and Walt received a special Academy Award for creating him.
From 1934-37 Disney produced an animated, full-length film of Snow White. Both Lillian and Roy, as well as most other people, opposed Walt in this, but he prevailed. The film, which was released in 1938, became the most successful motion picture of the year and earned over $8 million. The picture began the Golden Age of Animation for Disney. Many more followed, along with theme parks. By 1960 Walt Disney Productions was the world leader in family entertainment.
As labor unions organized workers in most of the Hollywood production companies in the 1930's, Disney, with the authoritarian style of the era, was one of the last holdouts. Disney, who cared for his workers and paid them well, was shocked when a labor union called a strike against his company. Disney workers were the best paid and worked under the best conditions in the industry. However, Herbert Sorrell (a Communist spy) organized the Cartoonists Guild under his own Painters Union and called a strike against Disney in 1941. A federal mediator was called in who accepted the union's demands, and after five weeks, Disney gave in. Thus, the Prostitute of Babylon took over Disney and the other Hollywood movie companies.
Walt Disney's success is legendary. He received 59 Academy Award nominations. He won 26 Oscars and holds the record for four in one year. He holds the record for the most awards and the most nominations. He received seven Emmy Awards. And his company has theme parks in the United States, Japan, France, and China.
Although Walt Disney was raised in the Congregational Church where he undoubtedly was exposed to the Gospel and although he calls himself a Christian, his testimony is vague and without evidence that he ever believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior. Later he became a Mason. Although Disney movies espoused human good, they are devoid of God and churches. Instead, they are filled with magic, fantasy, and lies, which are the works of Satan.5
Walt Disney died of lung cancer on December 15, 1966 at 9:30 AM, ten days after his 65th birthday, in Burbank, California.
Sun Sign
Disney's Sun Sign was Scorpius, for Satan who disguises himself as an angel of light. This is the basis for Disney's portrayal of human good (exclusive from divine good). He portrayed a rat as good and funny rather than reveal the true nature of the rat, which is a filthy symbol of Political Babylon and a demon. He portrayed magic as good, when it is the evil work of Satan.
Two other planets in Scorpius added even more intensity to the significance of the sign. The Savior Planet in Scorpius symbolizes a Satanic attack, and the Mediator Planet in Scorpius symbolizes a deceiver. Satan is the deceiver and the liar. Disney was not a good guy. He was full of the devil.
Moon Sign
The Moon Sign was Virgo, the Virgin, a symbol of the power of woman. This takes on even more significance, since the Ascendant Sign is Virgo on the cusp of Leo. All this symbolizes the influence of the woman. Disney's movies and cartoons appealed to the woman and children. This was his market.
The Sling
Disney's chart contained a Sling with two planets at the center of the Sling in Midheaven, Planets in Midheaven symbolize fame and publicity. The pair of planets in Midheaven symbolized the partnership of the Disney brothers. The Last Adam in Taurus symbolizes hidden power (like magic) and creative genius. This applied to Walt. The Redeemer Planet in Gemini symbolizes a redeemer, or financial partner, which applied to Roy, who managed the business.
Just as a Sling revolves around the center, a person with a Sling in the Birth Chart is preoccupied with the planet, or planets, at the center. Walt was preoccupied with Disney brothers' company partnership. He was a workaholic.
Sagittarius
Three planets in Sagittarius signified great influence of that sign. The planets were:
The Morning Star in Capricornus symbolizes a Gentile leader. Walt Disney was a Gentile leader in the business world and motion picture industry.
Disney's appeal to women amounted to the lie of the Prostitute of Babylon, and his appeal to children was from Baal. His cartoons were not funny. They were bait to lure children into the fold of Satan. As a perverter of the minds of children, Walt Disney was one of the most evil men who ever lived. His fantasies about magic are veiled appeals to the power of Satan and his demons.
